Part 6 of positive threads, delving into all things Meghan and Harry. Whether it’s the causes they support, their business initiatives, or Meghan’s fashion choices (Harry’s too, on occasion 😉), there’s plenty to discuss Just a pro-tip - that there may be use of MLE terms and discussions of dupes - you might want to exit stage left if these things offend. This is a relatively drama free zone - let’s keep things light! Clinking a glass of lemonade 🥂 to @queentim for the original inspiration.

Serena looks great in the black and silver dress. Her daughter is growing up fast.

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 09:47

The colour of Serena’s first dress is beautiful. But that is it.

The black and silver dress is beautiful. She looks absolutely divine.

The white dress is nice but safe dull.

And as Serena demonstrates, good foundation garments are a must.

As is tailoring.

Neither are evident.

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 09:58

The fact you cannot find anything about it makes it feel almost like an ominous message aimed at only Harry. Maybe that was the nickname of one of the torture victims from African Parks. Was it one of the people he killed while serving in the Army? Or some other sordid incident that only Harry & Meghan know about that was kept away from the media?

This deserves sunshine.

As you say, why name Prince Harry?

Disturbing.

Indeed. Tit tape or inbuilt bra is a must!

Harry and Meghan - not feeling Harry’s tie.

Looks like he's going to a funeral - oh wait 😂

I think Meghan's dress would benefit from being higher under the armpits like Serena's. This would allow for a higher and more flattering bust line.

I kind of like Meghan's dress, it's more tailored than normal which is good. But the cut of the neckline emphasises her already very broad (in relation to her waist & hips) shoulders. She could still have kept that style of neckline, but cut higher under the armpits and less shoulder visible would have been more flattering IMO.

And a bit of colour. Whites just a bit meh. And that's not just Meghan - am so over the white/griege look now.

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 12/07/2024 10:36

Her Nigerian lesson to wear more colour clearly didn’t sink in.

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 10:38

A shame because she looks great in vibrant colours.

PrincessMee · 12/07/2024 10:38

I think it ties in with her wanting to always be easily visible? It has become almost like a uniform now though.

Is she wearing the clothes or are the clothes wearing her? I am pretty sure she doesn’t need anything in addition to the reputation that precedes her in order to stand out. She really needs a stylist.

PrincessMee · 12/07/2024 11:35

It's all in her mind I suspect! She's an angel.

I be personally loved the blue rain dress!

PrincessMee · 12/07/2024 11:36

Oops my pidgin has slipped out !

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 11:41

The gifted skirt in Nigeria was gorgeous. Loved that.

DeftLemonDog · 12/07/2024 11:45

What's the deal with the plane flying a banner carrying the message "PRINCE HARRY INVESTIGATE MUMIS DEATH"?!

I have a feeling that the tabloids are trying hard to find out. If it has nothing to do with Harry we will be unlikely to hear another word about it. If the tabloids can find a story in regards to MUMI’ that in any way can be made to reflect badly on Harry we’ll hear quite a bit more about it.

It wouldn’t be hard for a journalist to find out the who what why of it all.

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 12:02

I for one would like to know.

TallerSally · 12/07/2024 14:16

Folks, Prince Harry fricken’ NAILED IT last night!

He reminded everyone that his (well-deserved) award was for his work with the fabulous success that the Invictus Games have become, and all the great impact they’re having on veterans and their communities.

He was gracious about Mary Tillman, a woman who was less gracious about him.

His acceptance speech was a masterclass in confidently acknowledging and thanking all the relevant people, while making a plug for Invictus, who are busily preparing the first ever winter games to be held in Canada next February. Something to look forward to!

Harry and Meghan looked happy, worked the room saying hi to celebrities left right and centre, and had well pitched outfits for the occasion. And then is this a case of Meghan sitting between the two men I’ve ever seen her kiss???? Or maybe the other dude just looks like him???

So brilliant to see that Harry got a STANDING OVATION! Serena was apparently really nervous about hosting, what a conversion from tennis champion. She looked and did great too.

All in all another hugely successful sortie for M&H, after their Nigeria triumph. Nice to see everyone in such good spirits and having a great time… ignoring the usual sour-grapes, as we’ve all become so good at doing! 🤩

LaMarschallin · 12/07/2024 14:22

Why did Serena change her dress?
Not criticising, just curious.
Both dresses looked fine to me.

I remember Diana wearing a very similar dress to an event . Not for the first time Meghan seems to be copying Harry’s mother .

I think it's kind of a thing with celebrities now?
1 dress for the red carpet, and another 1 (or more) for the actual event.
Seen it a few times with different people.

LaMarschallin · 12/07/2024 15:08

MrsFinkelstein

Ah! Thanks 😊
I obviously don't follow these things enough.
Was about to say "Where was Meghan's 2nd dress then?" but then remembered.

As you seem to be up to speed with all things Sussex , any update about African Parks ?

NoNekkidNonNigerians · 12/07/2024 16:50

I would love to know about African Parks.

And Mumi.

Can you explain the point of writing like this? It would be helpful to know the intended audience and what you mean to accomplish?
