That [the navy dress] and the dark green seem to really suit her. I like her green dress posted earlier. It looked more appropriate.
Meghan seems to be able to wear most colours but both those more dressier styles, ( and many of the clothes Meghan wore when in the UK) would be far too hot and uncomfortable for a hot climate. I live in a climate where it’s hot for 9 months of the year, and we’d be lucky to have a week where the navy or green dresses would be appropriate. (They look like they are from
heavier fabrics, not just darker colours.).
I tend to wear cottons and linens. I used to wear silk when I could afford it because it is very cool, but it doesn’t absorb sweat so it’s only useful for some occasions (low humidity days). Cottons and linens crush quickly, and just sitting briefly causes crushing in high humidity. My clothing gets very crushed. Linen with a mixture of viscose (man made fabric but made from a tree or something) wears quite well but it’s not as comfortable as the Cottons, linens.
I could wear wool or the lighter looking ester fabrics and look pristine without having to do a lot of ironing, but I’d get heat stroke.
Meghan stood up pretty well, but Harry was melting on the basket ball court. I saw a longer video of him playing on the court with the kids and he was wiping his brow more than once.
I didn’t like those sandy coloured shoes he was wearing with the dark trousers. And then the lighter coloured jacket on top. Nope, it was wrong. But Harry can look beautifully dressed when it suits, in more tailored suits. Before Meghan he used to wear baggy/daggy looking suits and ties, and the style he wore on the basket ball day reminded me of those days.
