I didn’t see a new thread so wanted to start one. I’d really appreciate if everyone keeps this focused on Meghan-related fashion and lifestyle. I know I can’t expect only positive posts but let’s not get personal about Meghan or one another. 🙏

That’s what I thought. The central stone was the one Harry bought from Botswana and the two side ones Diana’s. Hopefully she’s made the old central stone into a pendant or something. I have to say, I find it an odd thing to do, but there’s people on SM saying it’s normal to upgrade your stones. That’s a new one on me.

I love white jeans but they seem to make my legs look like they are wrapped in bandages nowadays. The Queen of white jeans is Liz Hurley of course - always wore them, always will 😀

Me either @jeffgoldblum Strange things have happened to my wedding and engagement rings. Woo things. And I don’t believe in woo. But I wouldn’t be without them.

My mum has the diamond that my dad could afford back then. They were both relatively young. Tiny little thing. Illusion set. But an unusual setting.

Dad once offered to get her something that he felt she should have had from the get go.

He hasn’t asked again.

She wouldn’t hear of it.

There were all sorts of hopes and dreams wrapped up in that ring. That is what it signifies.

It is perfect.

Just as it was given and received.

I am a bit of a vulgar sized gem in rings sort of girl and will admit when I heard the valuation I did expect a larger stone but I love it ! It's a ruby ( proper blood red one) and I do have small fingers ! Dh got me an eternity ring while he was posted ( all rubys , not as dark though) and with that and my wedding band I think bigger would have been a mistake.

I always think of being a teen and the stress of managing that time of the month. I have owned off white trousers more recently but not white.

Trip home from Nigeria. It’s a dupe of an outfit Diana wore. I think that’s sweet. I thought it was a coincidence but the shoes make that very unlikely.

I came home from 4 days away and couldn’t wait to see my dog and cats! 🤣

But got to spend time including Mother’s Day with my 83 year old mom so entirely worth it. She actually took care of me and made me breakfast every day! (I did do some things for her, too!)

I wear my MIL's engagement ring. It was bought in Dublin 60+ years ago for £50 (we have the receipt). I wouldn't dream of "upgrading" it or changing it in anyway and hope the DD won't either when she eventually inherits it.

Price point? I can look later. Found tons but all over the map with price.

Women’s Brown Wool and linen blazer is what I searched. Saw $190 up to $1200 but am sure we can find less expensive. (I searched US but also got UK stores)

Aww guys, I have shamefully upgraded my engagement ring a few times. I was really young when DH and got engaged and we couldn’t afford anything fancy. My first engagement ring was a fifth of a carat.
A lot of years later, I’m now up to a two carat Asscher cut. (I’ve kept the others though and not traded in so at least still have the original).
So I’m with Meghan on this one!

So much for complaining she was told by the RF to dress like Diana. Along with dressing in beige. You’d think now she’s free not to so she would stop. I appreciate there’s always going to be resemblances because modern fashions are recycled from previous eras. However, this is copying whole outfits. Which is fine, just don’t complain someone else made you do it, then carry on doing it and expect nobody to call you a hypocrite.
