I didn’t see a new thread so wanted to start one. I’d really appreciate if everyone keeps this focused on Meghan-related fashion and lifestyle. I know I can’t expect only positive posts but let’s not get personal about Meghan or one another. 🙏

I do hope she was wearing comfy joggers instead of those tight looking trousers on
the way home.

I’m all for a stretchy trouser but I can’t see those being great to sprawl about in.

I've seen a couple of commentators mentioning her engagement ring. the original ring, as showcased so memorably in the engagement interview, had a plain gold band with a centre diamond that belonged to Diana, I think. She didn't wear it for ages. Now it's back, but the central stone looks much bigger and there appears to be a new band with small diamonds on it. Anyone else notice this?

Wasn't the band altered to include diamonds fairly quickly?

@AliceOlive there is a Royal thread on Style and Beauty which concentrates on clothes etc. less likely to get negative comments there maybe 🤷‍♀️

eta also less likely to run out of steam if Meghan goes to ground as other Royals included 😂

Saw this photo yesterday but didn’t realize it was current!

I’d be fine in the trousers. (Don’t laugh but we in US usually just call them pants!)

I like the overall pieces together but think the jacket is a a bit oversized for my taste.

Anyone know where to find those shoes? Very 80s and I love them.

Quick Google suggest the central stone has been enlarged - upgrade. Oh to be so fortunate!

I do hope that the original has been incorporated into something else though. A shame - for the sentimental value alone of course.

I traveled yesterday and wore jeans. Was very comfortable. Though white ones are usually made thicker.

I don’t mind the shoes. I think I’d prefer them with a little heel though.

To me, flats and skinny trousers make the feet look disproportionately large. And I’m sure that isn’t the case.

I have huge feet. 🤣. I had a few pairs of soft leather Etienne Aigner loafers that I loved back then. Similar to these but less pointy.

Fair enough re the tightness. I usually travel in palazzo pants so my travel wardrobe is a bit different.

I flew out in drawstring, wide legged black linen and returned in the jeans. I love the linen ones but felt a bit frumpy this time walking through Chicago O’Hare for some reason.

I was looking at www.johannaortiz.com (designer of the palm leaf dress and the gold dress from last year) and thought I recognized the style and pattern of Delfina Blaquier’s outfit in Florida at the polo match last month.

Turns out she’s a big fan and even wore one of her styles to H&M’s wedding reception.

I’m not sure I could justify that price for something that is essentially a flip flop with a roof.

I don't like pointy toe shoes, they make my feet look enormous!

I much prefer a rounded toe.

If I can see my feet in a shoe beyond my bosom, then it isn’t a shoe I can carry off!
