Harry and Meghan are gadding about the world using their royal titles at every turn and behaving as working members of the RF.
I would imagine the King etc are very concerned.

I suppose because the King is the Head of State by consent, and if he starts to looks weak it could be a problem for state stability and security. If his own son becomes compromised in some grubby way, it can be exploited by hostile agents.

@OneHeartySnail - I can't see Meghan putting herself into a position where she has to answer serious questioning (rather than OW's fake gasp.of shock), or expose herself to the possible (likely?) rejection of the electorate.

Given she can and does surround herself by people who accept her at her own valuation and provide adulation.

I think there is truth in this - if M&H think they are scrutinised at the moment - running for some political office I reckon they will find very hard .
At the moment it seems to me they can go down the "our truth line " Not if you are running for a public office. I don't think they will do this in a million years
