I assume he has impeccable sources as he generally keeps his nose clean and bats for their side but for him to say so brazenly in an unguarded moment speaks volumes. Wow that is saying the quiet part out loud. I really hope he wasn’t one of the many people out there who was criticising Harry speaking about the racial biases in the BRF. Knowing those types of people the cognitive dissonance allows them to do both.

Well he hates Harry and Meghan with a veangance even wrote a book on it which is regarded apparently as impeccably sourced by 'insiders' so I'm minded to beleive him.

Given that many consider his work to be impeccably sourced we can only conclude that the King does not like to visit and indeed was forced to visit the black countries because he does not find them “culturally interesting” - is an accurate reflection of the King’s views.

Head gears with beads are smaller in Nigeria and usually only worn by the celebrant or female royalty of certain tribes during formal occasions.

I have no time for Tom Bower who said, ‘ It’s Meghan I’m after.’ That statement turned my stomach and when I read his name I think of that. One by one these misogynistic Meghan haters expose themselves for what they are.

The man has proved to everyone who he is now, with the ‘white countries’ statement.

Hopefully, King Charles will deny this. Because this will not go down well in Commonwealth Countries. I live in one. Imo, it really doesn’t matter if the tabloids and newspapers pick up on this, it’s all over social media. Of course, the UK newspapers should pick this story up but I don’t hold out much hope. I doubt though, that all the commonwealth countries will be so reticent in regards to publishing it.

He’s written awful things about Meghan’s character and questioned her character and intentions repeatedly - I’ve seen his opinions echoed on the RF forums here and other sm platforms a great many number of times as though they are the truth. If people believe the unkind things (gossip) he’s written about Meghan Meghan (and her mother too, if I remember correctly) and have repeated them as ‘truth’ on social media, then yes, they should believe this of Charles, too.

A review for Revenge that appeared in the Times called the book an "eye-popping character demolition" of Markle.

Personally, I don’t believe the man. He makes my skin crawl.

I’ve seen posters post opinions belonging to Bower as truth. His book Revenge was mentioned quite frequently on mumsnet. Perhaps now we’ll stop hearing his bullshit ugly gossip about Meghan (and her mother) repeated on here as truth. And know him and his opinions for what they are.

There’s a very very long wikipedia entry listing all the official visits Charles has made in his lifetime. It’s a lot. And as the entry makes clear, these are travels he has made as a representative of the UK - so the trips were decided upon by the Foreign and Commonwealth office to further their official strategy. Because of that, he doesn’t just travel to Commonwealth countries. He’s been to most of Europe and most of South America for example.

Given this, it seems unlikely that Charles has to be “forced” to visit certain countries.

Why he thought that was helpful god only knows and he is a notorious gossip who loves being in the limelight. I can't see any published linkages beween him and actual royals. So I guess it's unproven. If he, as others have ably said is an unreliable source then hopefully folks won't qoute this odioius man ever again. I certainly won't. But he did say it on GBNEWS an OFCOM regulated TV channel who should have known better to publish it without any authority or at least push back on him during the interview. (Though from the short clip we can't know that).

Tom Bower is a biographer who has written about the Royal Family, including a controversial biography of Meghan Markle. There is no public information to suggest he is friends with the Royal Family. Some of his work has been critical, which would likely not endear him to them.

It is important to note that biographers are not typically friends with their subjects, as this could compromise their objectivity.

Tom Bower, and Angela Levin and Omid Scobie for that matter, are gossips who interpret and distort everything in the worst possible way. They will say anything about any royal just to make themselves feel important and it is usually nasty and divisive. I feel sorry for both those they are currently being nasty about and those they claim to support because they can turn on a dime and attack anyone.

Seriously?! We are all just human and do make mistakes sometimes. Noone is 100% perfect all the time.
