I didn’t say you had , I was simply commenting on the hypocrisy. I am assuming you are new to the RF board ? If not you MUST have seen the hideous comments about Catherine’s weight , hair, clothes ?
I don’t think it is right to comment on either Catherine or Meghan’s weight .

If you say so 😀

@smilesy No one had empathy for Meghan - Kate enjoyed publicity generated by a false and leaked story about Meghan during her wedding. Her husband invaded Meghan's personal space over a silly argument - of course Meghan deserves it? Or they lied - William would never - it was said.

You question whether I believe Harry - who believes the Royal family

I know who I don’t believe and that is the serial liar that is Harry

also I fully believe that both Meghan and Kate cried before the wedding. But more inclined to believe the royals who have not been caught lying

SluggyMuggy · 08/05/2024 13:18

It was covered in some of the media trials. Stories that could only have come from the Palace. Read about the trials.

The Daily Mirror claimed that the Palace sends them stories, without being specific about who or what / in a case where they were otherwise accused of tapping Harry and Meghan’s phones. That’s the ONLY songs ace of someone claiming stories come from the Palace, a shady tabloid trying to cover their arses

the Mirror lost that trial BTW.

I know what I believe and I don’t believe a newspaper with a long history of lying over the RF who, if they did leak stories, know it would be entirely counter productive

How do you know Kate 'enjoyed' publicity?

Catherine had just given birth. If she'd posted on MN at the time, she would probably have been told unanimously that she WNBU leave them all to it and stay at home on the sofa cuddling her baby.

Agreed I don’t think Kate has ever enjoyed any publicity generated by Megan.

I don’t think I would have been happy with a camera shoved in my face like that.

I would have appreciated having my arm shoved back/held even less.

Why didn’t he just step back instead of grappling?

I found Harry's actions with this fan disturbing:

https://nypost.com/2024/05/08/entertainment/prince-harry-hassled-by-fan-at-invictus-games-uk-event/

Talk about invading personal space.

Edited to correct typo.

Edited

She is desperate for photos isn't she? She must be an avid fan!

BemusedAmerican · 09/05/2024 15:09

Or a paid fan?

I just watched the video of him arriving at St Paul’s, it is indeed very very odd, there is clearly a small group of people screeching like mad. Maybe some idiots from the Sussex squad trying to avoid the boos. If so, they fucked up badly.

It was a very odd scene. One person getting out of a car to be greeted, walking up all those steps, turning to wave to people. It was all so empty was the word that jumped to mind and to me emphasised just how alone he is now as regards the RF , just how deluded he is about his importance. Yet again the whole point of the Invictus celebration has been lost because of Harry - photos of him grandstanding instead of others. He really is deluded. I suspect he sits in California listening to Meghan and the SS and believes it all. Yes Harry people love you! Show up and do good! Instead he looks like a big fool.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 09/05/2024 15:26

Trust the Spencers to pitch up. Anything to score points against the rf

Er..... they're his family too on his mum's side.
Saw a lovely photo earlier of him hugging his uncle and thought "ah, nice" and remembered the speech he gave at Diana's funeral.
Glad to see he's still about and there for him.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 09/05/2024 15:29

YaMuvva · 08/05/2024 22:10

Yeah old ugly family members are the worst

Blimey, is that projection or something?!
How do you get to that from what was actually said lol
A case of "oh so because you think they're young and beautiful you're saying the others are old and ugly?!
FFS 😂

What do you get out of that?
Why?
Genuinely.
I knew when I saw it earlier it'd be twisted into something bitter on here somehow.

She wanted to move back to Althorp but her brother wouldn't allow it.

I wonder he had the nerve to stand up and say what he did at her funeral, then.

More hypocrisy.

More hypocrisy.

Not hypocrisy at all!

Please do some fact checking.

Charles Spencer won a legal case about this entirely false story.

The Times was forced to apologise three times for wrongfully repeating the story that he refused Diana refuge at Althorp.

You don’t often see the apology published because of the influence of the right wing press but it existed and it’s out there if you care to look.

Please don’t except every story you read as the truth! This is a prime example of how media spinning takes place!

I just don’t understand and how the beauty and age of his family is the least bit relevant other than a particular type of superfan coming on the thread looking to hate on the RF

SluggyMuggy · 08/05/2024 16:34

That is a new low on MN. Defending Prince Andrew.

No one has defended him they’ve just questioned inaccuracies

JSMill · 09/05/2024 16:28

Charles Spencer does seem like a nice person. I have heard him being interviewed a lot recently due to his book about his awful experience and he comes across as an empathetic person. However it seems he has a strained relationship with his dcs from his first marriage. He wasn't at his dd's wedding. I did therefore find it rather ironic that he was being praised for supporting H yesterday.

I totally disagree

he didn’t support Diana after her divorce at all then had the nerve to use her funeral, where her 2 boys were sitting with their paternal family, to have a pop at their paternal family.

He is also Catholic and did the sign of the cross as they’ve approached Westminster Abbey which in itself is not too shocking but in the context of a CofE funeral with the head of the CofE present it felt unnecessarily provocative at his sister’s funeral

Wow what a completely ridiculous and out of order post.

do you usually resorts to such melodrama to try and ‘win’ a point?

Just to answer your nasty, ignorant post - it wouldn't have been my daughter either because I parent my children, and they would never have been in a position to spend time with powerful and wealthy men, or flying round the world. What do you think fucking parents were doing?!

YaMuvva · 09/05/2024 17:03

SluggyMuggy · 08/05/2024 17:06

So you agree the Royal Family are boycotting Invictus as part of their boycott of Harry?
Time to get professional Heads of State in like Ireland. If I behaved like this in my job I would be sacked.

I don’t think boycott means what you think it means
