Posh you aver?

Swishes creased kecks and squeezes one tear from left eye.

Am surely achingly relatable 😡

She also didn’t want to be a ‘lady who lunches’ but that hasn’t stopped her calling the paps for her numerous lunch dates.

Being the spare seemed like a great job to me, I can’t really see what’s better with the life Harry’s chosen in the US, except perhaps the sunshine. Everything else is the same (polo, charity events etc) except he doesn’t get all the perks he did in the RF.

I totally agree that the spare has the best position, the best of both worlds, all the privilege, none of the prescribed destiny and an incredible opportunity to live an interesting and useful life whilst wanting for nothing. That's if you are not a lazy, entitled, jealous, drug addled, prurient empty vessel.

Stupid man(boy) couldn’t see he literally had the best job ever. Can you imagine the job ad: “person wanted to attend ribbon cutting and visiting care homes. Perks include anything you want.”

Thedom · 15/04/2024 10:59

So funny how people on twitter spot this stuff, looks she thinks she is discreetly elbowing Harry out of her way, but someone spots it and comments😀

I actually think that had Harry married someone else like Cressida, he would have been quite happy supporting the RF . Unfortunately Meghan clearly loathes Catherine and resents her being senior to her so it was never going to work . She thought that 2 brothers should be treated the same and I kind of understand that but she can’t appreciate that it’s one thing for Charles to love both sons equally but status wise , William and family will always be senior.

How rude she is. And he's pathetic.

I think the failure of H&M as senior royals hinged of the fact Meghan just didn’t ‘get it’. At all. And why would she - he didn’t explain to her and make sure she had any sort of briefing on what Royal life looks like. I really do think she thought it would be just like Hollywood with glamorous photo OPs and fakery. The fact she was shocked that the Queen’s family bowed to her in private really shows that she had a very different view of what the RF are than what was actually real.

Either that or she knew fine well what it entailed and they both thought she’d come in and shake things up a bit

IsoldeWagner · 15/04/2024 11:34

She was no teenage ingenue.
She could have researched her part.

Yes, I think she thought - and he did - that everyone would be so impressed with her, she would change the system.
Some weird Diana cosplay going on as well.

Goodness! so she does 🤣

Runnerinthenight · 15/04/2024 15:29

It's her utter entitlement that baffles me - where on earth did that come from?!

Is there any other interpretation of that? And why?!

Uricon2 · 15/04/2024 15:50

I'm a bit boggled by the polo programme idea. I don't think there is really any comparison with an examination of the world of F1, millions of ordinary people watch that but polo, not so much. It really is the ultimate rich man's sport and incredibly niche.

My feeling is that they are moving from any kind of pretence at relatability to fully embracing the whole "uber luxe life, old money" aesthetic with a sprinkling of "philanthropy". Whether they will be able to generate enough cash from the commercial ventures associated with it to fund this sort of lifestyle long term remains to be seen, of course. I think it doubtful.

Thedom · 15/04/2024 15:58

She clearly elbows him to move out of the way, is it because she wanted him out of the frame for when she was filmed congratulating and hugging the other player ?

She has a strange look on her face when the player crosses M and goes to hug Dr. Chanduka.

She can be so socially awkward in those kind of settings.

Quite! The references on here from her supporters to 'a young mother' are hilarious. She was twice Diana's age when she joined the RF and a very worldly-wise, divorced cable actress who'd grown up in Hollywood.

She was most definitely NOT an ingenue and as an actress surely learning a role with the right words and moves and wearing the required costumes at the right time should have been absolutely up her street. Also, surely an experienced actress knows when to be still and quiet and not upstage others?

She is an absolute piece of work in her manipulative channellng of Diana in order to charm Harry. God, he must be stupid. And M completely shameless if she thinks people don't pick up on this.

CoffeeCantata · 15/04/2024 16:34

She can be so socially awkward in those kind of settings.

If you watch her in so many contexts she is utterly lost when not the centre of attention. She just doesn't know what to do with herself until the focus is on her again. You get the seal-clapping, the hair-fiddling, the clawing Harry, the back-rubbing, or just plain shoving him or others away.

I don't know if 'socially awkward' is quite the term. That suggests a kind of innocent gaucheness and Meghan hasn't got an innocent bone in her body! She's shameless in going for what she wants at all costs and allows nothing and no-one to stand in her way. And I don't thing she ever reflects or loses any sleep over her behaviour.

Totally agree. This is what makes her a fascinating character. Her sense of entitlement and shamelessness. I think she was Daddy's princess and that has never left her. Pity she ditched the man who believed in her and paid for her education.

IsoldeWagner · 15/04/2024 16:41

You're absolutely right, @CoffeeCantata .
Not googling Harry? No clue about the national anthem? No idea who Prince Andrew was?
She's either lying or very stupid.

Thedom · 15/04/2024 16:44

Well we know lies slip off her tongue very easily, without any shame, so I don't think it is any stretch of the imagination to assume those are lies rather than any naivety or stupidity.

I find her absolutely fascinating. She is a study in pure narcissism. It’s nauseating but also completely compelling .

Wonderful!! Another celeb who feels the need To teach the masses how to cook and entertain as if the concept is all too vague 😊.

😂😂

IsoldeWagner · 15/04/2024 16:56

She tried to do a cooking show before, but failed. It's amazing what a royal title facilitates.

Vespanest · 15/04/2024 18:15

Meghan gets so obsessed with getting the optics correct, probably because of previous faux pars that she ends up making more. Trying to orchestrate everyone movements is not a good look. The pushing with her elbow is just a why. How Meghan can simultaneously know and forget where the cameras are is an achievement

Geebray · 15/04/2024 18:28

And how unfortunate that the woman from the charity was wearing a very similar outfit! 😆
