To continue the discussion...

What next? What did the launch aim to achieve? Did it get the desired result?

Actually best ignore, maybe get fed up and go away. Just derailing the post, so juvenile.

LadyWhineglass · 16/04/2024 20:31

I put Fanny Craddock into the Gif search and this is what I got….

Geebray · 16/04/2024 20:38

No, she isn't.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 16/04/2024 20:39

Is Harry the Johnny to Meghan’s Fanny? (Ooh Matron!)

What the hell is that chicken sitting on?

AutumnCrow · 16/04/2024 20:41

Dear, dear Johnny. Such a frightfully game old cove.

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 16/04/2024 20:42

Who cares what she calls herself. She is living proof that you can’t buy grace or class.

I think you meant “…derailing the online bullying of a woman we’ve never met because she dares to exist”

PublicAnnouncement · 16/04/2024 20:44

Canthave2manycats · 16/04/2024 19:59

Your deflection is what is truly astounding! Are we supposed to love hers because she's a POC? Can nobody ever dislike a POC? For any number of reasons not related to the colour of their skin?! Away on with you!!

🙄

I appreciate the vocabulary lesson.

What is it called when someone fetishises a woman solely because of her heritage? A man solely because he married someone with a particular heritage?

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 16/04/2024 20:45

Some of those Fanny Craddock gifs are dashed peculiar.

MrsKeapp · 16/04/2024 20:45

Alright ladies, you all have a wonderful evening. 💚

So well said - it would be a shame to see yet another largely informative thread zapped because people rise to obvious provocation

I know, I did fall for it. That nonsense just pisses me off so much! It's lazy and stupid.

AutumnCrow · 16/04/2024 20:58

Just ignore, ignore.

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/04/2024 21:15

That’s a legacy page, which is made clear as it is dated. The current information about H&M does not describe them as his or her royal highness. Every other royal named and includes that they are his or her royal highness.

I'm not sure I'm keen on the idea of raspberry and gin jam or preserve, because juniper is a very strong flavour, is it not?

But it obviously must sell well.

ChampagnePlease · 16/04/2024 21:44

The 17 of 50 should have been written in a good pen

I'm no marketing expert though I've been forced into having opinions on company 'branding' over the years. The way that the 10/50 and 17/50 have been written is presumably supposed to look rustic? It's certainly not 'luxe'.

Or is the premise the same as those Picasso lithographs whereby the items became more valuable and collectible because he apparently numbered them in his own hand?

Or is there a deliberate 'air of mystery'? Because I think that could mean that the intern did it which devalues any suggestion of authentic provenance.

I'd also want to know if the 'grammers had genuinely tasted it, and where it's really from, and what's in it, before buying.

The overall 'look' of the jam jar all seems a bit mangled to me tbh - but that's just this one poster's personal opinion obvs.

JADS · 16/04/2024 22:14

That entire article is a piss take.

"Spread amongst friends"

The bit about the the £3.95 jam from the palace gift shop

The last line - fnarr!
