What exactly is "the Sussex Squad"?

Prydddan · 06/04/2024 14:56

I don't know whether this is too controversial a topic for such a thread to be allowed to stand. But I post in good faith on a topic I believe has a lot of social and political relevance.

Does the "Sussex Squad" actually exist? If so, how do you join? If not, do people ever identify as belonging to it?

If it exists, was it hijacked by SarahData and Bouzy or was it their creation? And, if so, to what extent?

Thanks in advance.

I avoided any H & M threads for the last couple of years

Me too.

No reasonable or nuanced discussion to be had and not worth the aggravation.

EdithWeston · 13/04/2024 12:49

I think the whole idea that there were posters who were always pro or always anti is entirely misplaced

But I did think there were posts which tended to make that lazy assumption, and that served only to stoke division.

Rather than just posting about the latest royal events - which has been going on since long before Meghan first met Harry - favourably of some, critical of others.

(I have appreciated the dwindling of posts which promote division by tending to push the idea of opposing camps and "hate")

MummyJ12 · 13/04/2024 13:08

It’s naive to believe that some posters didn’t/don’t have allegiances. As had been noted, it appears that some (perfect examples of which), have completely disappeared from this platform.
Although some of us are much more neutral with opinions, there are or at least have been some, that are steadfast in their pro or anti stance.

These threads certainly seem less divisive recently which is great. It seems that there are also fewer posts being deleted.

I noticed a pattern of posting a long time ago. Almost like clocking in and clocking off in a factory.

NGL, there were a few times back in Feb/Marchwhen I'd be on here, see the time on my laptop and think 'Afternoon shift clocking on any minute now.'

You know what this childish mean girl behaviour that I see on this thread and other ones is why actually ill fuck off too. Don't worry you won't hear from me either.

No wonder other long term posters have too, I see that now.

😂 I mean who can blame you? These threads tend to get a bit deranged to say the least, even MNHQ tires of them, so most people avoid and let the more fervent posters enjoy talking to each other.

The first page alone: China, Russia, Scobie, Bouzey, paid actors...yeah

Wow you have guts, will get the popcorn and wait for the pile on....

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 13/04/2024 21:34

I think it is totally fair for people to have different opinions. It only gets tiresome when groups are making coordinated attacks on particular threads and topics. Which is what had been happen. Much better now.

Well it's pretty simple if you're telling them you don't want to hear their ridiculous justification then why would they continue to post..not that puzzling why they have stopped then is it.

If someone told me I don't want to hear from you, you're being ridiculous then fine I'll fuck off and spend my time doing something else.

Might be a good idea if you took your own advice...

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 13/04/2024 22:01

I’m looking forward to the passionate defence of Bouzy, Scobie, China and Russia.

AliceOlive · 13/04/2024 22:03

Yes, what’s been uncovered about this topic is quite deranged.

Does anyone who has not done so already have the comfort to click on Spoutible and listen to the latest and give us a recap? I don’t want him to have my IP address so I won’t.

Bouzy's twitter account and the replies to his posts are completely unhinged - accusing the British media, forced by the royal family, of faking all the videos and photos of Kate since Christmas. The photo of Kate at the farm shop on his Twitter account isn't the original photo either.

He comes across as seriously unbalanced, and the whole Sussex Squad farago is actually getting quite sinister. Imagine being on the receiving end of the tripe he's espousing and not being able to do anything about the froth that's being whipped up. The stupidity of the supporters being led by the nose is something to behold - not a brain cell between them.

It’s why it’s cool the British press are ignoring him, he’s getting frantic. He’s mainly an echo chamber though. He has also not done himself any favours in client terms, he disclosed Meghan hired him, and is now damaging her and monetising her.

Agree there is something seriously wrong with him, those are not the actions of a balanced rational human being, I would imagine our Security Services are monitoring them as like you say they are now an incredibly sinister organisation.

As I realise that the article (that is what this thread is about) will have been written to make the case as persuasive as possible, I've asked a few times if there are inaccuracies (which could include flimsiness doing the heavy lifting)

No-one has pointed any out.

Accusations of derangedness, or litanies of past ills don't actually answer the question (and lack of response is beginning to be suggestive to me)

So I'll ask once again - and this is specifically about these current allegations.

MrsFinkelstein · 14/04/2024 13:14

Bouzy just screaming at the UK tabloids to pay attention to him now.

EdithWeston · 14/04/2024 13:18

I think the press who were using SEO got their fingers badly burnt recently about the Princess of Wales, so will be a little more cautious for a while.

They'll all have read the DW allegations, and (like us) have not yet seen any accounts that show errors in his chain of evidence or in the weight he attaches to the various parts of it. And if people concerned are getting lawyered up, I'm sure they will be happy to let it play out elsewhere.

What does it mean “ a comprehensive review of recent events to take the necessary action to uphold accountability” 🤔. What a completely nonsensical phrase 😆

He is fucking insane. What is he actually trying to achieve? The Farmshop was William and Kate, what are Hamlins going to achieve and why does Bouzy care so much? It’s absolute madness.

Devonisheaven · 14/04/2024 13:31

He’s also said Kate’s televised message was AI, does he seriously believe his ‘investigation’ is going to prove that to be the case, what an absolute fool. Surely even H&M will back away slowly from the crazy……..surely?

Oh yes apparently she blinks too much in the video so it must be fake.

I mean I went back to watch it and she does blink a lot but so do I when I’m trying not to cry. Which I imagine is the case here when she’s talking about telling her children she has cancer

BemusedAmerican · 14/04/2024 19:13

Hamlins is the same firm representing Prince Harry, Elton John, Sadie Frost. etc. Looking forward to seeing them depose Princess Catherine to get her admit that she is lying about her cancer and faked her video.

Devonisheaven · 14/04/2024 19:18

If they are a firm of any repute surely they would tell him to bog off? Why on earth would they want to be associated with that vile man and his wild conspiracy theories?

BemusedAmerican · 14/04/2024 19:24

Bouzy also just announced on X that he is writing a book about the disinformation campaign against Meghan Markle. This should be interesting. I hope the NY Post has excerpts as I won't buy it and give him any money.

Vespanest · 14/04/2024 19:25

Bouzy claiming he’s writing a book that is going to name the players involved in Meghan hate. He has the nerve to accuse others of monetising. Its okay for Harry to think he can move on, but there’s plenty of money to be made.
