Harrys name appears in P Diddy court docs? Why?

I’m seeing this on TwitX this morning.

Prince Harry’s name appears in PDiddys court docs, in relation to his ‘sex trafficking parties’.

From how I’m reading it, it doesn’t appear to actually say Harry attended, but why would his actual name appear? He seems to be the only example mentioned by name?

I’m assuming this court doc is real, I’m very confused by this?

Because it was largely ignored and brushed under the carpet as not important @OliverTwisted !

MrsKwazi · 26/03/2024 18:54

Didn’t H take M to A&F to introduce her to hom? Wasn’t it Fergie that ‘taught’ Meghan to curtsey? Apologies if I have this wrong, but I got the impression Harry was(is?) close to Andrew.

That's a degree of forward thinking and calculation I can't associate with PH in any way shape or form. If he could think two or three steps ahead like that he'd have realised the fallout from Spare, not have written his book and he'd still be talking to his family.

PrestonHood121 · 26/03/2024 19:08

I wonder when the rumors about Soho House, Markus Anderson (the link between H&M and the Yorks) will make the main stream news...

That’s how I read it too, it ‘gives access’ to people like Harry.

But just confused why, after mentioning ‘famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians and international dignitaries’ he’s the only example named?

Not sure what to make of it?

Because of all the types of people named, Royalty would trump all of them.

Interesting that Omid Scobie, who has tweeted copiously recently over what’s been going on with Kate, has said precisely nothing about this story. Despite it clearly falling squarely in his royal gossip wheelhouse. Remind me again why people think there’s no link between him and the Sussexes?

Has he said anything about African Parks ? Yes I could Google but am on holiday !

That was the story told both on Oprah and in Spare - Meghan said "I didn't know I was going to meet her [the Queen] until moments before. We were in the car and we were going to the Royal Lodge for lunch, and [Harry] was like, "Oh, my grandmother is here, she's going to be there for lunch." As they arrived in front of the Royal Lodge, Fergie ran out and asked if she knew how to curtsey.

In Spare, the story that Meghan thought Andrew was the footman was added by Harry. Which just seems odd, given Meghan knew Eugenie already, seemingly knew who Fergie was, and was a guest in Andrew’s house for lunch. Did he not eat with them? Or introduce himself?

BemusedAmerican · 26/03/2024 19:15

I can't see Andrew either dressed as or acting like a footman.

LessonsinChemistryandLove · 26/03/2024 19:21

There is literally nothing to suggest that H&M where in anyway involved in wrongdoing regarding Puff Daddy. Lots of prominent people have been mentioned in the various law suits and as this mention suggest, Harry is only named as someone who may have given Puff credibility to be an alleged, Dog. Likewise, lots of names where mentioned around Epstein, again he was a very rich and successful man, lots of people would have been around him. That doesn’t mean they were involved. Some of the suggestions on here are tasteless and quite troll-esq.

And, why would H&M say anything about Andrew? All of their talk has been about their own grievances with things that have happened to them, whether everyone else agrees or not. They haven’t just been talking about everyone for the hell of it again, whether you agree with their perspective or not. I am assuming that most of you don’t know anyone from the Royal family personally, the point of mentioning Harry in the lawsuit has clearly worked very well.

The only public images of Harry with Puff are from one event and William was also there. Clearly, William does not have the same gravitas and unlikely to pull in the crowds in the same way naming Harry does!

The trouble is if you tell lots of stories your lies will start to trip you up

It must be impossible to keep up with all the different versions popping up in books and the different interviews

PrestonHood121 · 26/03/2024 19:21

yeah, its all complete rubbish

Plenty of past tweets about Harry’s “inspirational” work with African Parks, but not a mention of Survival International’s report and concerns, no…

I had wondered if the tale was supposed to denote how attentive Andrew was to Her Maj; whereas I just got the impression of a fawning toad in the style of Mr Collins in the presence of his benefactress Lady Catherine de Bourgh.

Ratsoffasinkingsauage · 26/03/2024 19:24

The whole butler/ Andrew story is like something stolen from a Hallmark
movie. Non of it rings true and all of it is geared towards a US audience who might believe it. I reckon that was her target market all along!

Salemforcuddles · 26/03/2024 19:26

@Ratsoffasinkingsauage I think it was on one of the Channel 5 Christmas movies

Perhaps Andrew was at Pizza Express at the time?

StartupRepair · 26/03/2024 20:17

I don't understand why it is a civil case against Diddy, when trafficking is a crime?

CathyorClaire · 26/03/2024 20:19

What did Wills & Kate have to say about him? I must have missed it.

Willy's been seen driving with Andrew riding shotgun and Kate sitting in the back seat so given a picture says a thousand words he appears to be an unspoken hit with them.

A broke royal

Neither Andrew or Harry could ever be described as broken. Harry has at least £30mill from his mother plus 20 years of interest and another £10mill reportedly from the late Queen Mother. But your point about being careful who you associate with and that freebies are never free is very very true.

Well he had that money. We don't know he still has it.

@OliverTwisted Indeed. I think being unable to accurately remember where you were when you found out where you grandmother died is a pretty big indication of either massive drug use or Pinocchio syndrome!

I've never done drugs or alcohol but I honestly have no clue where I was when I heard either of my grandmothers had died. To be fair I was 13 with one of them so I can probably be excused that one but the other one? My adored granny, I know when she died, I know where she died, I know what caused her death but I haven't got a clue when I heard she had died or where I was.

Harry memory of the queen mother death wasn’t the problem, it was creating a different scenario that painted Charles in the worst light possible and having a deep emotional reaction to something that never happened.
