So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

The Exec Producer is unsure, slightly different.

We normally see KM on duty, fully styled and carrying herself in a particular way. It is no wonder the footage of her at the farm shop is taking people by surprise. She is in casual clothes, not styled as we see her at official events and while it was staged to appease the press (?) it was clearly meant to represent a more candid moment. So of course she is going to look a bit different.

I honestly do not understand this level of hysteria around her being "missing". As many others have thankfully posted, a statement was issued that she would be having surgery and would be back at work by a given date. What is so hard to work out about that?

I am not a royal family fan - but I find the whole sorry saga a pretty sad reflection on the treatment of women on the media over their image.

I just hooe veey much that she is OK. If she's going through something like (eg) cancer & recovery from that, she will just want her privacy and time to get through it with her family. Being a Royal would make that very difficult. I can understand why people are concerned not to have seen her but I just hope she is OK and that she, William and their children are happy and that whatever is happening that they come out the other side. It must be incredibly difficult to live your life under so much scrutiny. Love to Catherine & her family x

It’s not remotely serious. She’s had abdominal surgery, is recovering well, will be back after 17th April, and school hols, and might do the Easter church walk, people have surgery all the time and sick leave.
