So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

I don't understand the hysteria

As a human being, I hope she is fine, but as a subject in a monarchy in a modern age when such establishments shouldn't really exist, I want to know what is going on and think we deserve a credible source giving us a credible explanation. The handling of this has been diabolical.

I so agree with this, this explains my thinking on this too.

People may disagree with me and that's fine but I think it's a problem that the royals live off the public purse and are above the law, but can just deem themselves out of action without providing a suitable explanation. I think the whole idea of having royalty in 2024 is a problem in itself. They should be held to account MUCH more than the average person in situations like this. Somebody on benefits doesn't get benefit of the doubt that they need X amount of time off, they have to prove it with doctors notes and the like to universal credit/HMRC. I really don't see the difference here.

They are royal and don't have to answer to others below them in status.
A royal family is a bizarre type of head of state, I agree and so do many more.
They aren't accountable as they are royal, thats what being royal entails they rule, not the other way around.
Someone on benefits is poor, a royal has been born to a title to rule - that is the difference.

Id be asking why do we put up with this state of affairs? A president would cost more, but would be accountable and without the entourage

And she's fine to be walking around now but can't attend trooping of the colours in April, which was on the Militarys website saying she will be attending - it's not that far away, why would she miss one of the most important royal shows of the year by just a week or 2 if she's well enough now?

I did note in the video from the farm shop, she wasn't just walking, she was really trotting quite fast indeed, the fastest someone would really walk without being in a rush. She's quite public conscious from what I've seen, I'm surprised she wouldn't slaunter on by quite slowly and hand her bags to her security team given that the princesses recovery is paramount, and that she doesn't want to be seen as completely well, if she isn't. It just stood out to me how brisk that stride was and the bag in hand when surely she'd want to at least give the impression of being "in recovery" to save face, even if she was in fact completely better. And I DO think they think about these things, image is everything to the royals. Without it they have nothing keeping them in their spot.

It’s a huge cost when the rest of the country is struggling so much. The time can’t be far away when they are asked to pay for themselves and can volunteer public duty if they so wish. They are wealthy enough to continue a comfortable life for generations.

I would be sacked if I took 3 months off without significant supporting evidence given to my employers. Even then I don’t think they would keep me on. I might be replaced. Kate is very lucky to have the luxury of so much time to recover. I think it would be a step too far to add school holidays into the mix 🤨

Exactly, I'm not a fan of the special treatment at all. Everybody is struggling, even the upper middle classes being hit with huge baseline costs. If she's adding on an extra couple weeks holiday to spend to the kids on the end of it, that leaves quite the bitter taste. Oh but we must "factor in" these benefits they have when considering when she'll be back to work(!!!work. WORK. It's their job. It's the only reason they are allowed to exist in the modern age and have their very kushty life, by means of them "working" for us). They must have no childcare for the holidays, nanny's are out of their budget clearly.

It says she has already returned to work, but there is no evidence of that whatsoever. Her own staff claimed last week that they haven’t seen or heard from her.
I can’t believe they intend to take a further three week holiday after such a long period of not working. It was ‘they’ so Willian also won’t be working. I do find it very annoying why William has done so little in the last three months.

The MoD said she would be defintely attending which is what KP were not happy about as they couldn’t confirm this when it was announced (a couple of weeks ago£. Doesn’t mean she won’t attend if she is well enough, just they couldn’t say for certain at that time. They also said the King would definitely be attending and that can’t be said for certain either

@Severalwhippets I would look for a better employer if I were you, I can take a lot longer than 3 months off and the only " significant evidence" I need to produce is a medical certificate from my GP

My mistake it was June yes! I don't know why they'd have issue with her definitely doing something 6 months after an operation when 3 months in she's well enough to do what she'd be doing there - walking, standing, and talking. But there you go..
