So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

I fully expect to see her attending church on Easter day at Sandringham with the family. And I will laugh so hard at all the conspiracy theorists trying to backtrack so fast they fall over.

Anyone with a sense of humour would wear a balaclava to church on the grounds of it being quite chilly for the time of year.

Wasn’t the problem cause because the press decided that this photo was “news” instead of the normal puff piece that this photo would ordinarily accompany and so it was subjected to more stringent guidelines? KP probably weren’t expecting them to do that and unfortunately it has been the perfect excuse for the media to have a field day with the fact the it was photoshopped

All these threads are peculiar. I’m not sure why no one can believe she’s had an operation and won’t be back in public life till after Easter. The internet allows conspiracy theories to run rife.

My guess is is could be linked to a pregnancy loss which is why there’s so much secrecy about it. If it was as simple as a hernia op, they would have no doubt said what the health issue was.

I think her return has already been pushed back though, initially they said "after Easter", more recently "after Easter holidays when her children are back in school" according to the papers, which is 17 April. So that's roughly extra 2 weeks there, of course that's "after Easter too", but not quite the same as saying mid-April from the outset.

That would be hilarious, particularly as they usually go to St George's chapel in Windsor for Easter

YABU for wasting one second of your life, by being worried about her. She will be receiving the best care possible. Save your concern, for someone that you could actually help in real life.

Members of the royal family have, in recent years alone, been accused of affairs, racism, paedophilia etc etc and people seriously think that the Princess of Wales not having any public engagements is somehow the worst thing that's ever happened to their reputation.

The problem is we sort of do own the Royal family, and the general public know it and act like it. It’s gross. I once heard an American describe the royal family as a human rights violation and I’ve never stopped thinking about that since.

And building a mystique around KM. I am dreading her reappearance because she is going to attain the same mythic status that Princess Diana had. It is going to be toe-curlingly annoying and inescapable.

Which works exactly the othe other way too. Take one person and among the population of the UK alone there will literally be 1000 people who look really similar to them, and could easily pass off as each other from a distance.
Saying that’s “definitely her” is way more illogical than saying “I’m not sure” or “I don’t think that’s her”.

I have never offered any theories about where Kate is. The affair rumours are years old. I am disappointed in William for not protecting Catherine - had they confirmed it was not them at the farm shop this latest PR faux pas could have been avoided.

It’s irrelevant what is wrong with Catherine, and the details of her health issues. However the deception and lack of information has not served them well.

I hope we see her next Sunday fit and well. Catherine is supposed to be our future Queen it would quite strange not to care (unless you are republican) - given they have spent decades encouraging public affection and good will. What a very unnecessary and un seemingly PR mess.

I really couldn’t care less, but then I’m not overly invested in the lives of complete strangers.
