TMZ Producer says it ‘might not’ be Kate!

So after days of so many of us saying it is not Catherine, and being screamed at, shut down and called ‘crazies’ and ‘trolls’ and all kinds of offensive names. It turns out we were right after all. It does not appear to be Cathrrine (no shock there for many of us) According to the producer that beamed this out across the world. Clearly unverified. Incredible that the news outlets just went along with it - no questions asked. What does that say about the quality of our journalism?

It was a huge gas lighting exercise.

So now we know we have one fake Mother’s Day photo and now one fake farm shop footage - it begs the question in a much more pressing way - where is Catherine? The stupid memes have to stop. This isn’t funny or anything to joke about.

No one can verify even a single shot ( I am discounting the photo of Pippa in the car with Carole, and someone’s head in the car turned away in windsor)

I don’t believe we are going to see Catherine this Easter or at any time soon. I don’t know where she is, or what has happened to her but I feel extremely worried for her.

I await Kensington Palace’s statement - it’s about time we learnt the truth. How can it be any worse than what has been speculated?

What will happen next? As this can not continue any longer.

Technically, I’m likely going to be one of her subjects sometime in the future.

Parliamentary Bills are going to need the seal of approval of her husband, over whose conduct there are some question marks right now.

She’s not some Jane Doe, she’s emblematic of the constitutional monarchy under whose rule I live out my life.

I think Rishi thinks he pulls a bit of weight with ruling the country.

SoupDragon · 21/03/2024 08:45

LittleGlowingOblong · 21/03/2024 08:22

It might not matter, save for the fact there have been such strange silences and lies emanating from Kensington Palace.

KP own their share of this, it’s unfair to lay the blame entirely with us tinfoil hatters!

This is what they said:
Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to hospital yesterday for planned abdominal surgery. The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.

So the blame for all the speculation lies 100% with the "tin foil hatters". All those ridiculous theories lead to this. There is nothing KP could say that will deter those intent on pursuing these conspiracy theories.

Iwasafool · 21/03/2024 08:47

I really hope her mental health is strong enough for her to find all this hilarious, it would be really awful if she is feeling down after surgery and all this speculation is upsetting her.

PleaseletitbeSpring · 21/03/2024 08:48

The question in my mind is why would they go shopping in a farm shop when they have had such a battering from the media? It's well known that the late Queen liked to visit shops and this was done out of hours when the public didn't have access.

Surely the last thing anyone would do in the midst of a media storm is to inflame it. If it's genuinely them, it shows poor judgement when they, of all people, should be media aware.

IcedPurple · 21/03/2024 08:50

No you are not.

Firstly, Kate will never be sovereign.

Secondly, the category of 'British subject' was more or less abolished 40 years ago. Unless you belong to a very small group of people, you are not and never will be anyone's 'subject'.

Good god, don't pull at that thread! 😂

Why would going to a local farm shop"inflame" things? Or perhaps, more accurately, why SHOULD it inflame things? She has had an operation, is recovering and will, hopefully, soon be fit to restart her official duties. In the meantime, she has begun to get out and about a little. It's not as if it is deaths door one minute and fighting fit the next.

So? That doesn't mean you have a God given right to know what surgery was carried out on her innards and whether she's recovered well enough to pop to the shops or not. They said she'd be back at work after Easter, end of.

Wickedlywearynamechange · 21/03/2024 08:55

I haven’t RTFT

But I think Kate is probably fine.

I’m beginning to wonder if the PR/Communications people at KP are really as bad as I was thinking because,

the ‘is it or isn’t it Kate?’ Saga of the past month or so might be serving as a distraction from something else entirely.

Are we being distracted from Charles’ illness - is he more ill than we have been led to believe?

Or is it something else?

I’m curious now. Before, I was willing to accept the bungling PR at face value. But I think they have to be smarter than this, surely?

diddl · 21/03/2024 08:56

Has it been officially stated the it's W&K at the farm shop?

If not, wgaf if it's a couple of lookalikes?

I also think that the furore over the MD pic was ridiculous.

All the press dropping the pic in horror.

Like they are bastions of truth & integrity!

In the poor woman not allowed to leave the house? The farm shop is on the Windsor estate where she lives. People are probably used to seeing her there. She’s been cooped up at home whilst recovering and probably fancied a bit of normality. Why should she have to second guess what everyone is going to think or say?

CurlewKate · 21/03/2024 08:59

"Is it Kate or is it cake?"

There are going to be soooo many people watching the RF coming out of church at Easter this year!

And then there will be the Great Reaction Hmm MN will combust!

I hope to god that Kate spends a few mins chatting to the crowd so that everyone can see it's 100% her.

I hope this for her own sake! So this can all end.

With luck she's/they've got a good enough sense of humour to have been laughing about ''William's murdered me and buried me under the patio'' ect., rumours. I also hope the laughing hasn't split her stitches Wink

Yes, sometimes shops do open out of hours for some customers ( and not just royalty!) but can you imagine the faux outrage " Farm shop made to open out of hours so privileged Kate doesn't have to mix with the commoners"

TequilaNights · 21/03/2024 09:05

Severalwhippets · 21/03/2024 04:43

Do you think it’s okay we have been subjected to fake, doctored family photos released by Kensington Palace themselves? And now fake farm shop footage? Because I really don’t think it’s acceptable.

Every single person edits their photos now a days, hardly revolution of the century.

I think you need to step away from the computer, I am concerned for you.

Teddleshon · 21/03/2024 09:06

@smilesy totally, she is often seen shopping (what a surprise!). They are also frequently at school matches as is Charles. I saw the late Queen in Ballater once.

They are actual human beings.

Wickedlywearynamechange · 21/03/2024 09:08

Yes, but every single person doesn’t then send it to AFP, AP or Reuters as an official image.

Quizine · 21/03/2024 09:08

To my mind, all is as it would be according to the initial information.

The RF is so totally above all this gossip and speculation. They are probably laughing their socks off at the madness going on outside of Windsor while they carry on regardless.

I'll join in the speculation if there are doubts about her return after Easter. Well in any event "After Easter" could mean Christmas I suppose, that was left open!

diddl · 21/03/2024 09:10

It was still an image of them though wasn't it?

Interesting that when this was originally in AIBU, it didn’t quite get the reaction I think the op was expecting 🤔

This.

I think in this case AIBU is more reflective of the general public response than the RF board.

Which encourages me that there will still be enough tinfoil around for my Easter roast.

Blarn · 21/03/2024 09:12

TMZ!? I think that's up there with The National Enquirer!

Pippa246 · 21/03/2024 09:13

TMZ producer casts doubt on video ……great way of drumming up yet more publicity for TMZ and more people watching the video on the TMZ website for the zillionth time. Hmmmm - he’s not exactly a neutral in all of this.
