They knew that announcing Meghan's new venture would be big news. So they dropped it 45 minutes before William was due to speak yesterday evening. At an awards ceremony dedicated to harry and William's mother's memory.

But that wasn't good enough. Oh no. They then announced the winner of their own awards. While the Diana awards were still going on and Prince William was handing out prizes.

Is there no level this petty, bitter couple won't sink to?!

She is applying for her trademark status under the company name of Mama Knows Best LLC based on Delaware .

Definitely mommy issues.

Meghan and Harry are doing their own thing. Projects planned months in advance... I expect they wouldn't even have visibility of Williams schedule.

I'm very interested in the launch of Meghans interior company as I love her style and think this is what she will be excellent at.

She filed for the trademark in January 2024.

Meghan's interior company:

Laptop stand = 8 unsold copies of The Bench
Executive Desk = sheet of mdf supported by 32 unsold copies of The Bench
Wallpaper = pages torn from hundreds of unsold copies of The Bench

She may get trademark pushback from American Riviera Bank since they are already using the name.

Meghan has launched a new business and good for her. Why tear that down? Some of us are actually interested in it and like her asthetic and we would purchase from her website.

This is a woman you have never met. She's trying to make an income for her family. Shouldn't women support each other? She's not harming you... why would you wish bad luck for her?

No one has wished her bad luck. People have even suggested products.

Really? Is that all they did? No endless bashing of their families? Whinging about their privileged life? Even during the Covid crisis and subsequent war, it was all about how unfair everyone was/is towards them.

In my opinion, I think it's more dislike than hate to be honest. A lot of what they've done is in poor taste, including monetizing their titles when apparently they wanted nothing to do with the RF.

I agree the issue is harry and Megan’s behaviour is perceived as distasteful and quite unacceptable by most people. I understand a small minority are ok with it, or take their word for it and beleive it justified.

the issue is the behaviour continues. Using the night of the Diana awards and William’s speech to launch Megan’s website and archewell is clearly a deliberate ploy, to help give publicity to it, and it’s just more unpleasant cynical self serving stuff.

I honestly think the monarchy is in trouble. Serious trouble. Charles is clearly disappearing from public view, and is in very difficult cancer treatment sadly. Camilla, god love her, can be Charles’s queen, his consort, but she she can’t be the queen queen,like Elizabeth was, going solo, and the whole. Kate thing has been handled terribly .

I understand there is there is a very good reason Kate is out, and hope she is making a full recovery, but it’s not been handled well, with what seems like lying and misleading the public. He has hardly covered himself in glory as future king or shown leadership. No one needs to issue images or give medical info , but straight out lying and being caught at it, is very poor.

I was never remotely interested in the royals, but now I’m like wtf will they all do next. Charles and Camilla seem the only ones who are handing the whole thing with dignity, but even they are clearly downplaying stuff to the public and Charles is coming across as weak when his sons are concerned. Ie both Harry and William’s behaviour right now isn’t edifying, and even though William’s is likely as he is trying to protect his wife, the optics are really bad.

Isn't it amazing that the press appears to know everything about H&M and all the private calls and angry chats and everything, yet K disappeared for weeks and nobody knew anything. Its almost like every single thing in the papers is absolute made up garbage for over invested idiots to lap up. If you care about this on any level then you are weird. Very very weird. Time to grow up.

thr reason folks know more about Megan and Harry is due to them having a leaky ship and using people like Scobie to be their mouthpiece. People only know what is leaked from their camp.

for Kate, that’s been kept incredibly private, only a handful of very close people know what’s wrong with Kate, not even the staff are aware, hence why leaks have been very limited, I think the most we have seen is she was first operated on late dec and there were complications, or that Charles is not happy about the photo fiasco. Both things wider staff would likely know. Everything else is being kept to people who are clearly very trustworthy hence why no leaks on exactly what has happened to Kate.

The timings are undeniable. I don't need to "believe" anything.

And this was a Spencer family event, to honour Diana. Not a Royal Family event.

Who would have ever thought, a Royal hanging out with a Kardashian hanger on.. Looks like Harry's late attendance at the Princess Diana Awards was because his ski trip was his priority and didn't care about keeping people waiting for him to show up.

Considering the way the BRF have treated them, If I was H&M I personally wouldn’t have a single ounce of consideration for them. They’ve been chased out and bullied incessantly and they’re not working royals. To the British public like it or lump it but they’re going to do what they’re going to do. Even using their royal title…I know that a painful one for you guys to swallow 🤣

Well they weren’t chased out as they wanted half in half out. Told no then flounced.

But tbh I don’t blame them for coordinating their ventures with RF things. They want maximum publicity so hook up to RF announcements - I’d do the same as them if I wanted to launch stuff.

Did the family deserve the bashing? We're they whinging or just saying how it is? Are people unfair towards them? Have they monetized their titles or are their titles just 'there'.

It's all a matter of perspective and we all have different opinions which doesn't make us right or wrong about their situation.

I still can't understand why people dislike them so much. They don't affect my life at all so I can't get myself worked up about them.

@Fannyfiggs They affect me even less as I am not from or in the UK. But I can definitely understand why they incite dislike in so many people. As for whether families deserve bashing or their whinging is valid, years and years of repetition of the same old same old in every possible media to make money off it will be perceived as crass by many. I'm fairly certain that most of us have some sort of gripe with our families, but don't publicly badmouth them at every possible opportunity. And that's my opinion.
