Kate in car with face turned away

Sadly I've become too interested in Picturegate than is good for the level of hygiene in my household.
But ... that image of Kate turning away has stuck in my mind and is exercising me more than the Mothers Day photo.
If she was going to an appointment surely she'd be in a car with dark windows and not hitching a ride in a car n going somewhere else ?
She clearly did not want her face to be seen.
So she's being forced to do something against her will.
Which now makes me think differently about Harry and Meghan.
Any thoughts ?

What an irrelevant comment on this thread. 😮

I’m a monarchist but I would now fully support William if he wanted the monarchy to end and for him and his family to live in peace with their billions, these past few weeks have laid bare the hideous future his children are facing, hopefully the past few days has made him re evaluate that this level of fucking insanity just cannot continue, it could drive someone to suicide.

That's a good point about the two car pictures. The British press didn't publish the first, but have the 2nd, so something around their agreement with the royals must have changed?

The photo with Carole Middleton was supposedly on the school run, and there's an understanding between the press and the royals that no photos are to be taken there, and if any are taken by paps, they are not published in the British press.

The recent one was of William going to an official event, the Commonwealth Service, and it's fairly common for royals to be photographed on their way to such events. So that in itself is not strange. Why Kate was in the car, without blacked out windows, is interesting however. She didn't attend the Commonwealth event, and it's not like royals are like normal folks, with the wife having to be drooped off to her doctor's appointment on husband's way to work.

So I'm guessing it was 'arranged' to some degree at least. But for what purpose?

Clarefromwork · 14/03/2024 13:44

This reminds me of if you queried anything about covid/covid vaccine you were straight away put into the conspiracy / flat earther/ microchipped vaccine camp straight away.

But it is possible to find something odd and question it without being a conspiracy theorist!

For Christ's sake, she was looking out of the window!! William was reading something, honestly this is all just a bit pathetic, leave the poor woman alone.

Nah, that doesn't wash. They 100% knew the paps were there and it was a photo op to show us plebs who pay for them "nothing to see here, move along" but they didn't.

It spoke volumes. "This is all you lot are getting". Fine, it doesn't overly bother me. But is doesn't mean we are too dumb to read their actions

Wintersgirl · 14/03/2024 13:46

FFS.....have you heard yourself? You sound barking mad, the poor woman said she would be out of action because of an op, then the unhinged, baying mob demanded to see her, so she releases a Mother's day photo which gets ripped to pieces and then she had the AUDACITY to look out of the window when she was in the car with her husband. Stop trying to make shit up for the sake of it and leave the woman alone.

When she had her head transplant they should have put a bit more WD40 in the joints so she could swivel 360 degrees non-stop, ensuring she is paparazzi-ready at all times.

Your going to feel so silly if that turns out to be true

twilightermummy · 14/03/2024 13:52

I'm surprised more hadn't been made of the image actually. It suggested problems in the marriage to me! William looked like he couldn't care less whilst she's clearly distressed imo.

I also thought it quite unchivalrous that the mother's day image was supposed to have been taken by William, yet Kate was the one apologising for editing. It was almost like he wanted the applause for the photo when initially released but then threw Kate to the wolves.

I would imagine that there's a whole lot of regret about kicking H&M out at this stage. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring them back into the fold if their popularity continues to wane. With those two out of the country they've given W&K enough rope to hang themselves.

I haven't commented on any other threads regarding this. I'm not obsessed it's just my tuppence.

I mean cmon there is co incidences and co incidences. You can’t beleive the only person to see them in this car was one person, this pap. No member of the public taking snaps as they went through central London with a convoy, not one. No one at traffic lights, no one as they were stuck in traffic. They glided through London and no one noticed. And she just happened to be turning her face away when this one pap saw them. When comtextualised with someone who has just faked a pic of her own face?

of course it’s staged. Oh and to add, the palace wanted this one shown.

Edited

Do you really think convoys get stuck in traffic?

I saw a huge convoy that afternoon in Central London and I was stunned how quickly they managed to create a gap in the congested traffic and be on their way. At the time I thought to myself “Must be the King” as it was the most I’ve ever seen - and we see them often here.

Indeed, did you support Harry and Meghan leaving too? Because quite a lot of people in this country were not happy about that and haven't stopped going on about it. William would have to give back money for the house upgrades, and actually the billions belong to the heir, so if he gave that up then gone are the billions they have which comes form stolen estates. Would he have enough money from his mothers inheritance to pay for security? I am not sure he can actually leave and support himself, so I don't think thats going to happen. Even if he wanted it.

Lots of these posts read like the meme of that dog surrounded by fire saying “this is fine”!

This is an absolute PR clusterfuck. That part is unarguable- it is a slow motion 4k video of a Bentley crashing into a dumpster fire. People who normally have zero interest in the Royal Family are finding themselves sucked in by the relentless gravitational pull of this 24 Karat PR fuckwittery.

It is now ludicrous to sit there tutting about the madness of crowds, or condemning the gossip. The world now can’t help but stop and stare open mouthed at the sheer spectacle of the “whoops I’ve shot myself in the head” incompetence of it all.

I have definitely seen photos printed in the British press of Kate doing the school run, including after the Queen died. There are none with the kids in the car that I've seen though, I think thats the stipulation. None of the kids- as it should be.

Yes, you do occasionally see such pictures but given that the school run has been happening on 5 days a week for several years now, they are very rare.

The general 'agreement' is that photos of the royals 'off duty' are not published by the British press. It's not always adhered to, but for the most part it is.

drivinmecrazy · 14/03/2024 13:59

Do any of these conspiracy theorists not think of the children involved here.
I know the MN line is that they're at public school so are protected from SM and gossip, but really?
People are suggesting that they've essentially used their children in a mocked up photo.
As a mother I cannot imagine to concern that both C&W must have for their children.
Over the years (I'm old enough to remember to vitriol directed at Diana) I cannot remember such attention on a story such as this.
It really has become so vitriolic, horrid, spiteful.
I'll leave you to decide which word fits better.
The amount of threads on this is insane.

juniorspesh · 14/03/2024 14:00

In summary it's a real time The Thick of It which will hopefully hasten the Republic. Not boring at all. Liberté, Egalité, Beyoncé!

It’s up to Harry and Meghan what they want to do with their lives, they were happy to leave the RF so yes of course I would support it, what a bizarre thing to say, and it’s not the fact they wanted to leave at all which caused the fall out, it’s their words and actions afterwards that’s upset people as well you full know.

I’m not party to William’s finances or how it would be worked out, I’m sure he and his family will be minted for life so no concerns there, fingers crossed he starts the ball rolling before something dreadful happens.

You would want William to leave? So then who would be next in line? His son. thats not going to work, is it. This is part of the point for some people who want a republic, its desperately unfair on the people born into it- especially those meant to be Monarch. They would find it almost impossible to leave, and timing is everything. William has left it too late, he would leave the burden to his son.

YouJustDoYou · 14/03/2024 13:33

Harry and Meghan are still the (proven) lying dickheads they always were.

This is gratuitous nastiness. Harry and Meghan did what they had to do for their own sanity and wellbeing and most importantly that of their children. Good on them.

In fact, if what Harry said in his book is true - that Megahn was being thrown to the tabloid wolves to distract them from a negative story about William - if that negative story was the one about Rose Hanbury then - Harry and Meghan's actions start to make even more sense and I would say they've handled themselves with dignity, considering.

I'm looking forward to her walking to church on Easter Sunday and people claiming that the live footage was photoshopped

BenefitWaffle · 14/03/2024 14:06

@drivinmecrazy I will be very surprised if she is filmed walking to church on Easter Sunday.

drivinmecrazy · 14/03/2024 14:10

Maybe they'll wheel her out in her hospital bed with all the life support equipment and claim 'nothing to see here'
FGS this is getting ridiculous now.
But I must admit it's entertaining, so crack on.
The wilder the conspiracy theories get, the more I'm laughing

BenefitWaffle · 14/03/2024 14:11

More likely drive her to church so she only needs to walk a few steps and claim this is perfectly normal.

amberedover1 · 14/03/2024 14:12

@Wintersgirl i think Kate was doing something she didn't want to do .I agree using words like 'forced' and 'against her will' is putting it too strongly.
