Kate in car with face turned away

Sadly I've become too interested in Picturegate than is good for the level of hygiene in my household.
But ... that image of Kate turning away has stuck in my mind and is exercising me more than the Mothers Day photo.
If she was going to an appointment surely she'd be in a car with dark windows and not hitching a ride in a car n going somewhere else ?
She clearly did not want her face to be seen.
So she's being forced to do something against her will.
Which now makes me think differently about Harry and Meghan.
Any thoughts ?

Yeah it's a strange as hell! I do think that the reason for it was a warning for the media to back off, because since that photo its been nothing but sympathy and "back off kate." But I think it was ill judged and KP are creating half of these problems themselves. If they wanted to release a photo for mothers day it could've easily been one from the summer (they do that all the time) maintaining kates privacy but appeasing the public somewhat. The speculation has been caused by them being downright weird!

I actually agree that I found that image quite sobering. If it was a fake then KP would deny it …because it is quite damning about Catherine’s mood ,reluctance and surely William should be more protective and not agreed to the car trip..
Am starting to understand why Harry left RF ,not that he has the sun shining out of his Arse by any stretch of the imagination!!

The car windows may have been tinted but they weren't blacked out.

The reason the bricks are a different colour is because they are different bricks. It's a brick wall in front of a brick building.

I'm struggling with realising how gullible so many of the public seem to be. SM has not helped us.

She agreed to be papped to quiet some of the more ridiculous dead/coma rumours, but isn't happy with the appearance of her face and so she turned her head.

I can't get on board with the idea that she is bowing to public pressure as , if she were ,I presume a photographer would have been arranged to get a slightly clearer shot of her .
Which makes me think she was pressured into doing this but tried to sabotage the event

Just to be clear I do not feel the public should have or are entitled to be given any more detail or visibility of Kate than she wants them to have.
The car photo engenders only sympathy in my mind for her.

@ColleenDonaghy maybe you're right. 👍I think my views are coloured by the difficulty I have believing that the RF would lower themselves to respond to crazy rumours about one of them being dead or in a coma.
The well established MO of never complain , never explain served them so well .

Yeah, until it didn’t, when the general public went nuts about Diana’s death and the RF staying in Scotland and not having flags at half-mast or wandering with performative sadness amid the rotting flowers.

@NineofPopes mm that's a point. I suppose even usually good methods fail sometimes but not frequently enough for them to be abandoned altogether.

When people are in a car, they quite often look out of the window. If you all spent a bit more time in the real world, you’d notice these things.

I agree, it did seem a very odd picture.

Why was her head turned away, surely if the point was for her to be seen, she would at least have put on a smile and waved. As she didnt, what was the point?

When she had her head transplant they should have put a bit more WD40 in the joints so she could swivel 360 degrees non-stop, ensuring she is paparazzi-ready at all times.

My initial impression was that she looked too dressed up with that formal looking hat and hairstyle. Then i saw that this is another photoshop.
It does sound like they are portraying her as unstable, like they painted Diana RIP. I think this is William's doing.

I have to confess the weird obsession by some over every facet of the royals day to day actions and movements somewhat weird. Kind of up there with trainspotting.

I think it was staged and she’s turned her face away on purpose, and I also think she never actually went anywhere as in a car with clear windows a member of public in central London of all places would have seen them and snapped a pic, and you can also tell when a car is moving.

I think it was staged to show she is alive and up, but I can’t work out why she’s hiding her face so much, her profile looks fine.

For Christ's sake, she was looking out of the window!! William was reading something, honestly this is all just a bit pathetic, leave the poor woman alone.

@amberedover1 it's clear that you are joking with this post but if true and it really is disturbing your mind to the extent of neglecting your ironing then I would suggest talking to a therapist. Ironing piles matter too.

That's not the house in the photo.

She happened to be looking out of the window.
She'd just royally fucked up by sending a photo out with loads of crappy adjustments made to it. She felt like a tit all day and is thinking 'I can't even be a fucking photographer now. I'm really just a public chess piece. I can't even be sick in peace'.
Simple as.

I mean cmon there is co incidences and co incidences. You can’t beleive the only person to see them in this car was one person, this pap. No member of the public taking snaps as they went through central London with a convoy, not one. No one at traffic lights, no one as they were stuck in traffic. They glided through London and no one noticed. And she just happened to be turning her face away when this one pap saw them. When comtextualised with someone who has just faked a pic of her own face?

Also it wasn’t lots of crappy edits, it was a composite picture, ie an image comprised of other images. They couldn’t tell if those other images were taken a day ago or a year ago. That was the issue.

Exactly. The photo appeared as intended.

But I really do think that a) she has genuinely had some sort of big (medically necessary) operation b) the Mother's Day photo was photoshopped because she currently isn't happy with her appearance, maybe due to something like being swollen from steroids and c) she was just looking out of the window.

I really, genuinely don't think it's anything else, or perhaps I am very naïve!
