So you think the paps got that one shot of her looking out the window and said great job done let's not bother taking any more? Did the papers send the countries shittiest paparazzi tailing the woman the whole world now wants to see a glimpse of?

Not at all. I think they took a lot of photos and published the only one where you could look at it and think the women was identifiable as Kate. Because was, quite literally, the money shot.

Not a comment about Kate but about royal travel.

I see them and the rest in London all the time- less so since the children don't go to school in London.

They do go fast with the outriders who block off each junction so that they never sit in traffic but you can almost alway tell which royal it is (or if it s a politician). They often have tinted windows in the back.

The outriders arrive some time before the car to block the junctions- so you could get a picture as you have warning. You do get the best view head on usually rather than from the side- as the windows are usually tinted.

Walking the dog on Remembrance Day (I think) I saw most of them arriving/leaving both officially and unofficially across the day. Pretty clear who was in each car most of the time.

They used multiple vehicles to get the children to/from school some days- so I dont think they are short of cars!

Charles and Camilla are often the most visible due to their choice of car- and Anne.

He has had a long standing affair with Rose Hanbury. It is well reported on outside of the UK. There is a press blackout here.

I'm outside the UK and I have seen little mention of it. I have seen reports of rumours of it but nothing confirming it.

Sorry this made me laugh out loud…. If people disagree they can’t participate? Do you not know that this is a discussion forum, where people (who have the right to free speech) can offer a reasoned opinion, that may entirely differ to your own?!

BREAKING NEWS HRH Kate & William flushed their toilets today.

The thing is though, no one forced them out, and no one forced them to issue a photograph. It’s a shit show of their own making. They said Easter, why not wait until Easter? They’re clearly worried by the rumours - which usually points to there being something more to this than we’re being told. No reason for them to bow to public pressure.

The William and Rose rumour is ridiculous. There is not one not of evidence or anecdote from anyone. Just people saying “oh it’s true” and “the French papers have been saying it for years”.

Look, if a man is having an affair and apparently enjoys a particular sexual kink - why on earth would he or the woman involved tell anyone about it? Something as personal as that - do you really think he’s going to tell people about it? Come off it.

What if she has been pregnant?

I agree with you on the paps. It seems like a set up photo that was supposed to lay speculation about her whereabouts to rest. After all the media in Britain did not publish the other pap car photo.

But her face could just be puffy - it looked puffy in the first car photo. She may not want her photo taken . It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s injured.

I’m just baffled as to why the palace are so keen to snuff out the speculation. Either they have a terrible PR team or something bigger is going on.

I don't think the rumours will stop. People are like a dog with a bone over this. 24 hour social media and news has made them think they deserve every detail. I've read so many comments complaining that "obviously her medical details are private but we should be told what kind of operation or we will keep speculating...."
So, let's imagine (not too hard to imagine from the facts we do know) that Catherine had a bowel resection that went wrong, maybe involving some kind of brief cardiac issue or nasty bacterial infection. Maybe as a result of Crohns or a inflammatory bowel. Maybe you think the public will think its your fault for having an eating disorder when actually your weight had dropped in your most difficult medical flare-ups. Maybe it involved a stoma and colostomy bag, and she needs the months off before a stoma reversal. Women can have abdominal operations that are not hysterectomies. How many here would announce their colostomy bag to the nation? Would you do this if the press have spent years analysing your weight and critiquing/admiring your glamour appearance and wardrobe? Would you appear in public so the Daily Mail could pore over your photos and ask why you were wearing baggy clothing or worse, publishing photos with arrows on, highlighting your stoma bag? And your medication has swollen up your face- it's puffy and swollen- you barely look like you- and you can't face make-up. Would you put out a photo of yourself unphotoshopped? Would you be tempted to lie about how you're currently looking?

The PR around this has been poor but there are plenty of possible reasons why she might want to hide away that are not coma, divorce or overdose.

The only oddity for me was William missing the memorial service but there are so many reasons why that might have happened.

I also think much of the public don't realise Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace each have their own staff and own approach to publicity. King Charles is an old man with inevitably less vanity over appearance, and his approach has been overall more Frank and public- I think this has been admirable but hasn't helped the Waleses as it is such a contrast to their own highly private approach.

I hope she is doing well, whatever the story is behind the scenes.
