I think the dailymail photo in the Op is sad, I get the discussion on an official photo, but I do hate paparazzi and she must of known he was there and looking away while he looks down just makes me feel sorry for them. It reminds me of Charles and Diana.

I think it’s quite obvious that photo was set up for them to be seen together, otherwise they’d have been in a car with blacked out windows. Although to be fair that isn’t necessarily Kate in that car, it’s hard to tell. Probably a lookalike . Maybe even the same person who is in the original unedited photo that Kate’s head was superimposed onto. Oh dear, I’m spiralling into a bad place, save me!

oh no! I don't think they'd put a lookalike there! That is going down a hole. I assume the car is driving on roads and other people can see in too so that would be a risk and not necessary! I just don't like the paparazzi and if that were me being photographed as I drove around I would not like it and probably feel quite scared. I guess they probably staged it but that still isn't what I personally want. I hate that paps follow people, mostly women, around and there is no law against it.

I think the Palace should have accepted responsibility for it and apologised for the error. Released another photo, or maybe some from throughout the years with the kids. Something to cool it down. Feed the press a bit and keep them happy. But take the heat off Kate fgs its their literal job.

I think its probably her, but she looks like she's been made to sit in the car with him. Why would you do that and not at least look out of the window? As if they only have one car and have to drop her off at the doctors before he goes to the Commonwealth service! I think Kate is being thrown under the bus by William.

Who’s to say the car left palace gates or even moved? Totally staged photo. Ask yourself why, if that car drove through the streets of London, there are no other photos of them in that car.

I agree @DistinguishedSocialCommentator that the conspiracy theories and rumours need to stop, but your thread here has achieved nothing to stop them. As many posters have said, there's no hard evidence this is Kate with William, or that it was taken this week.
