I don't think it's about Charlotte's sleeve, it must be a bigger issue than that to kill it in this manner. They're just using the sleeve as proof it's BRB manipulated.

I did a google image search of the photo put out today, to see if anything comes up identical to the image of Kate. No results whatsoever - not even from BBC or other news outlets. Google image search any other image of Kate and it comes up with a huge range of images of her. This in itself is bizarre - like they’re hiding a potential identifiable source of her face in this pic.

KP publishing the photo saying that it was taken by PW is problematic. Because that looks a LOT like manipulating the truth, never mind the photo.

Despite the drama, I hope people see this as a sign that things are not okay, and the world needs to back off.

Plus, surely we can all see that this photo is a modern day version of a Victorian Death Mask portrait - they've propped her up in a chair and tipped her head back to make her eyes open like a Tiny Tears doll. The kids aren't laughing, they're screaming in terror, but have been photoshopped to look hysterically happy rather than hysterically traumatised.

Why is their family not allowed to release a manipulated photo, if it is of themselves? What is wrong with a collage even?

People are free to tweek their own photos.
It is a thank you for Mother's Day greetings not a passport photo or a photo taken by the media.

Reading the first few pages of this thread where all the Royal watchers were fawning over the picture saying how wonderful it was and how amazing Kate looked etc etc you really can’t help but think how easy it is to pull the wool over peoples eyes. They only see what they want to see and a few gave snide remarks to the early ‘it’s fake’ comments. Shame on them for being so gullible.

It's primarily a photo designed to reassure the public that KM is recovering well, after so much speculation. So manipulation isn't ok.

It's also meant to show she hasnt had facial plastic surgery. The fact that it's Mother's Day isn't really relevant.

I think manipulation happens all the time and it's OK. But so bad? Why?

They've gotten more publicity than today's Uvalde trip and the Oscars. In the PR world they've won. I am waiting for Kate to show up on the news tomorrow explaining that William had been messing with the advanced image features on his phone. A good excuse to bring her back early to shut up the critics.
