I still don't think the first one is Kate's nose

Another journalist has suggested that the KP press team have deliberately released an obviously manipulated image so the picture agencies pull it (and so they can’t make money off it) because they are really angry at all the pressure coming from the press. Who knows if that’s even likely?

The Telegraph is reporting that it is indeed Charlotte’s sleeve that is the issue.

The nose is the only bit of the face I think DOES look like her.

How bloody embarrassing for KP. They are an embarrassment. The PR team needs to be replaced.

If I'd had to guess, I thought something about Kate's right hand holding Louis looked a bit uncanny Valley too. Pretty certain I'm just being sucked down the rabbit hole of madness though...

After all the rumour re bulimia/ hand injuries maybe they manipulated the photo to show her injury free hands....

Not in a million zillion years was that true.

1. If going to the trouble of major photoshopping why not include the rings?
2. Surely they couldn't keep a coma quiet, the children are going to school and would let something slip.

It's probably no worse manipulation than your average instagram influencer does every day.

I was thinking the conspiracy theories were nonsense until today but suddenly I'm wondering if she had a stroke.

Hopefully KP just did some very minor but obvious photoshopping on the photo.

My money was firmly on Kate reappearing after Easter, looking fine, job done, no drama.

I'm a conspiracy free zone, but I must admit, KP releasing this image, with the attendant issues, was an unexpected turn of events.

This is starting to make the conspiracy theories appear true.

It’s the proportions are all Wrong, the legs. Shape of her body, head seems oversized and upper body seems right, but attached to lower body sitting in that chair looks all wrong.

At the end of the day I still feel sad for a woman who has obviously had major surgery and wants to be out of the limelight to recover physically before resuming her royal role.

The pressure mounting must be intense and at odds with slow recovery and recuperation that occurs with others not in her role.

Imagine the utter frenzy when she makes her first public appearance. Media and SM are not kind bedfellows. She is human after all.

So far she’s fulfilled her role with grace and strength and style, it makes this sideshow of nitpicking over her every step forward that isn’t in the public domain post recovery very sad.

Who knows what the truth is, perhaps there has been some minor photoshop editing. But blimey when she does reappear just imagine the pressure she will feel. The world will be watching and that’s big pressure.

She won’t have gone lightly into requiring major abdominal surgery and from a past perspective nobody had a clue that she was not in great health. The poor woman needs compassion not having her every move (or lack of public appearances) dissected.

What I don't understand is why her hand on Louis is very blurred compared to the one on Charlotte which is perfectly in focus. It's not a typical location for a motion blur as she's obviously not moving it around much. Perhaps both hands were out of focus and they decided to Photoshop the one next to Charlotte.

The DM printed an extreme close-up of Charlotte's hand and you can even see a small scratch on her knuckle and skin texture. This means the original image was ultra high-quality, probably 4K resolution. Even though William took the picture, he was clearly using a top of the range camera. This also makes it more questionable why only certain areas like the hands were blurry.

If they released a doctored photo on purpose with the aim of aggravating the press and getting it pulled then that's clearly the death knell for the monarchy.

Charles needs to come get his son and sort out KP because this is a nightmare. An actual kill order from AP is so rare!

My heart goes out to them reading this. I’d love if everyone just turned their back for a few weeks and let them gather themselves. That’s what I’m going to do.

I agree with this. At first glance, something felt a bit off with the proportions but then you can't quite pinpoint what's wrong when looking closer.

The things that jumped out for me (I'm a graphic designer and retouch photos all the time) is that her head/face seems a tiny bit too large for her body which gives the uncanny valley feeling. Her teeth also appear a touch too white and really jump out of the image, possible indication of poor contrast/level matching if pasted from another source. Though it could all just be an optical illusion due to the hair and surrounding area being almost black and she's leaning forward in the chair.

When you manually resize heads or faces, it's very difficult to get the perfect sweet spot. Even a mistake of less than 1mm can produce the uncanny valley feeling. I mentioned a few pages back that it might be a badly backfired attempt to create a collage where every family member looks their best. So they had to splice several things together but without sinister intentions. However the Photoshop is absolutely dire. The mistakes left in the image is something that would not even pass by an amateur wedding photographer. How on earth that made it to AP and released worldwide is baffling.

This whole thing is extremely fishy. Something just doesn’t add up at all.
