I know there will still be people saying it proves nothing, it was taken pre op but why not just enjoy the photo..

Breaking News: woman has never ever been seen out in public without clearly wearing her massive engagement ring.

Divorce Watch continues, and the tension is palpable...

Bloody hell, Mrs F, just how many divorces has she had? And in some of those pictures, she’s looking happy whilst divorcing. Something is very off!

That's a pocket.

What's a pocket?

It's not clear at all to me. There are some bits people have pointed out that might be. I still think it's weird behaviour to go examining it that carefully.

Well, if this has indeed been photoshopped all over the place, that would actually be quite a big story.

However, since there is no plausible reason to do that (is the claim that all of these bits of shoe and cardigan have been changed to hide lashings of blood and vomit?), what is weird is making out that things that probably have a trivial explanation, and concern inconsequential parts of the photo even if they had been changed, are important.

I suppose there might be something to that argument if photoshopping was some kind of messy process. Like, you change Kate's face to make it look not bloated or whatever, and that causes strange effects to happen elsewhere. But that really isn't how it works. People who think this photo shows Weird Stuff™ need to explain why anyone would decide to chip off a bit of a shoe, which would incriminate the whole photo for no reason at all. Again, unless the claim is that the photoshopper is trying to give us all super-subtle clues that only random MNers can spot, at which point we're firmly in tinfoil hat land.

Right.I've cracked and linked this thread over on the Gardening section asking for tree identification .Having invested far too much time on this thread I'm hoping I can at least learn something .

Lets like at like this
Early into the thread I was advised pic was "old"

I did some research via 2 bloggers that have massive followings. They confirmed pics were only a few days old and as importantly, "pics were pre-op" Great news and Sky news that is often a trusted source confirmed this

Wishin HRH and family a great Mothes Day .

for the record I'm no fan of the royal family other than Kate/Willam and their family and now Charles and wife.

So two bloggers with massive followings both gave contradictory information about when the photos were taken? Surely that just proves one of them is wrong and we don't know which?

Or they’re both talking shite…

William doesn't seem funny in the slightest. I doubt he made them laugh that much.

True. Maybe they drafted Harry in for the photo. 😏

Seriously though, there does seem to be a strange incongruence between "Mum's been so ill she can't stand or leave the house for up to 6 months" and "here we are all roaring with laughter at out (usually sober as a judge Dad)".

TurnipMuncher · 10/03/2024 17:29

Louis seems to have lost a front tooth, what is he, very nearly 6? Last autumn would probably have been fairly early for that

"Divorce watch" is baffling to me.

I have no reason to believe Kate and William are divorcing, although I'll always be the first to say that we never know what's going on in other people's marriages so who really knows.

However, if they were divorcing, why would they drop hints and play games with the public by leaving off their rings and going into hiding? The late Queen's sister divorced, as did 3 of her 4 children, some at a time when divorce was considered much more scandalous than it is now. In all cases, the separation was communicated by official statements from Buckingham Palace. Why would the same not happen here? Why faff around in the manner the squaddies conspiracy theorists are suggesting?

ShamedBySiri · 10/03/2024 17:30

What's a pocket?

With threads like this it's impossible to know if someone is trying to be funny or genuinely doesn't know.

Compash · 10/03/2024 17:34

Well it's quite clear from this photo that they have replaced her brain with that of her own baby, and the 'until Easter' was just to give them time to teach her to walk and talk and play county-level tennis before Prince Andrew takes her on a tour of Europe for some 'furious jumping' and kicky dancing and...

I can't keep this up... 😄

Isitautumnyet23 · 10/03/2024 17:37

Lovely photo and hope she continues to recover well. If the kids were miserable, everyone would be moaning about that too. Kids often dont naturally smile for photos unless they are genuinely having fun. Obviously a posed photo with Mum (which she probably felt pressure to put out) isn’t going to be the height of fun in their day, so maybe they needed someone to make them laugh. Im sure we’ve all done that to our kids at some point.

I couldn’t agree more.

Nice of some to clarify how bitter and nasty they are though.

It's certainly a window into how controlling many posters are. The "agree with us, you nutjobs/loons/tinfoil hat wearers" mob seem to be foaming at the mouth that not everyone simply accepts everything they're told and shuts up when commanded to.

Lol. I think this is an example of what happens when posters don’t quote the posts they are replying to. I think the poster is querying another post that stated “that’s a pocket” in reply to a question about part of a sleeve. So I don’t think the question “ what’s a pocket?” means they don’t know what a pocket actually is (although I agree that’s what it sounded like) 😂😂

Christmas to June (at the earliest - see the conflict over whether she'd be well enough to attend the trooping of the colour)

They put out a statement saying she’ll be back on duties after Easter. Perhaps she needs longer to recover if that doesn’t end up being the case? Why would that be wierd?

Greenshed · 10/03/2024 17:45

Not sure where some of you are getting the information that this is a “pre-op” picture. Have you got insider info then? Have you got proof? Were you there when it was taken?

I'm not sure anyone who can already ride around in an SUV to do the school run, and roar with laughter in a way that doesn't seem to hurt her stitches would need to buy herself that much time to recover.

Mylovelygreendress · 10/03/2024 17:53

Interesting that the Wales family photo is being reposted by so many people and every royal correspondent I can think of except one ……………Scobie .

Well considering all the weird shite about Meghan: she's not really pregnant. They used a surrogate, she's actually 8 years older than she claims, she's been married a gazillion times etc, I think this claim about the photo is tame. At least it's in the realm of possibility

Dostadning · 10/03/2024 18:01

Crikey.

I haven’t seen anyone foaming at the mouth. Or indeed anyone being commanded to shut up and accept what they’re told. Or any examples of mob behaviour.

I’ve seen plenty of people making up a load of pish though.

Which is extraordinary. And indeed fascinating.

In a clinical way.

Roar with laughter? Where do you get that from? The children are laughing but she’s just got a wide smile. Sitting in a car two months after having an operation wouldn’t usually put a great deal of strain on abdominal stitches…

What, exactly, are you attempting to imply? That she hasn’t had surgery? That the photo is fake and she hasn’t recovered from her surgery? That it wasn’t her in the car? That she had a tiny operation but is skiving now? Because at the moment the only impression you’re giving is that you disbelieve in something but you’re not quite sure what.

Surely this thread shows why she might have decided to take a bit more time to re-enter the public sphere, since her every move will be endlessly and minutely scrutinised once she does?

If I was W & K I would have left the rings off, just to give the conspiracy theorists something to focus on!

Absolutely and good on them.

I am laughing at all these posters reckoning they are so clever having spotted some image manipulation, analysing Louis' missing teeth and Charlotte's cardigan. I mean with such an intelligent MN user base, the country's top employers should be finding all the talent that is needed 👀.
