The BBC statement from this morning says that the photo was taken earlier this week by Prince William. I’m not a conspiracy theorist so I’m happy to believe them (and not prepared to put in any effort to look into it any further).
You lot are bonkers (particularly the poster who examined the photo in enough detail to pronounce they could tell when it was taken due to the appearances of the leaves on the trees, when in fact all you can see are a lot of green blobs) 😂

Why would they go to the trouble of photoshopping...would be a terrible mother's day photo of Kate if Kate wasn't actually IN the photo 😂

I suspect they may be like my children, where the one photo where all the children had nice expressions at the same time also had Charlotte’s hand moving to create a blur. So you tidy it up,….and voila! Global conspiracy theory 🤣

(It would be amusing if William did this, given he famously had a smiling face photoshopped into a group photo once when he was a teenager and couldn’t be arsed smiling for the camera!)

A very common feature of conspiracy theories is that the dastardly perpetrators are extremely clever (Illuminati, George Soros, Bill Gates, WEF, the 12 families who run the world, etc etc) and yet always seem to leave stupid little clues lying around that only TrewthSeekah90210 can find. These "clues" may seem to the sheeple like you and me to be utterly irrelevant details that could easily be explained by folds in clothes or subtle perspective effects, but that's apparently just proof that you need to "do your own research" (by watching TrewthSeekah90210's YouTube channel and buying the supplements that they are selling).

It's tinfoil-hat-wearing people like this who've made it necessary for councils to put up signs in polling stations saying 'We provide pencils for your convenience, but if you want to use your own pen or pencil, feel free'. This is because a ludicrous conspiracy theory took hold at the time of Brexit that councils provided pencils so Yes votes could be rubbed out and replaced with No votes. Nothing could have made it plainer that these people had never bothered to vote before, as pencils have always been provided in polling booths, as long as I've been voting (over 40 years).

All week there's been posts saying 'surely it wouldn't be too difficult to issue a photograph of her' So they have.

They even specifiy it was taken last week by William - but no the sadact amateur detectives go over them in quite worrying detail looking for 'proof' the photo is an old one 🙄

AND STILL people aren't happy, want more & come up with more batshit theories

The picture has quite clearly been photoshopped all over the place. I don't know why. But the people who cannot see it and come up with all kinds of reasons as to why their bodies and clothes defy the laws of physics are the ones we really need to worry about voting in the election.
