They've made William look balder than he actually is, and given Harry more hair than he's had in years.

They've created a monster in the Sussex Squad, a truly vile, group. Harry and Megan's problem will be how to disassociate themselves from the mob without the mob turning on them.

The Squad celebrate vindictively causing problems to a small business, yet if anyone tried to do the same to Harry and Meghan, the Squad would tear them apart. They are truly reprehensible.

It has to be the most bizarre internet fandom ever. On the one side, a couple who at worst might be called a bit bland and workshy. On the other, an actress none of them cared about until she married an intellectually and emotionally challenged prince.

I get not liking the royals, being Pro-Republic but I think a lot of people forget that royals are human beings.

This whole KateGate situation was crazy. I've never seen anything like this ever again. The way so many bullied a sick woman into releasing her diagnosis. Then, when they didn't get what they want, they went after her husband, accusing of the absolute worst. As a victim of bullying, domestic violence and having been a caregiver of a cancer patient, that was extremely triggering.

How do you hate someone so much (that has never done anything to you personally) that you're set on destroying this person's life, no matter what?

This is why I cannot with Meghan and Harry. You can't preach about mental heath and online bullying and say that silence is betrayal when you've never defended anyone publicly before. What about your family's mental health?

Sure. But then why the adoration for certain royals? The insistence on using their titles? Most of them didn't have a clue who Meghan was before she dated a member of the royal family.

Also, most of the 'squad' seem to be American. Why the obsession with the British royal family? They have no more influence over their lives than the Norwegian royal family do.

And both are families with historic associations with slavery originating in west Africa, producing hereditary wealth which found its way into Harry's royal pockets.

I find the SS on the one hand absolutely terrifying and on the other, pathetically teenage. My dislike of Meghan is certainly due to the damage I think she's done, and is still doing, to the reputation ofthe RF and the UK in general.

But on another more visceral level, it seems to me that the meanest mean girl from school has become quite unfairly rich, popular and adored, and that is so depressing! It really does remind me of situations teenagers experience where some nasty piece of work is totally believed, despite lying and bullying, and gets not only sympathy but adulation. The sight of her grinning everywhere, like the cat that got the cream, does wind me up, I admit.

And Harry always looks thoroughly miserable and not at all as if he's living his best life. I'd be worried, if I was a friend or relative of his. She seems to have done a textbook job of isolating him from family and friends.

I don't normally subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I am wondering who is pulling their strings.

When you look into some of this stuff that is out there you can see the idiots who out themselves and align themselves with the Sussex Squad. You tend to see a pattern in these people. The real insidious ones hide of course behind false names . They will let others take the blame at the end of the day- the morons who can only see one aspect of it all, the ones who look for others to blame all the time.

I don't think that's far-fetched at all, and has been pretty much confirmed in connection with Russia particularly. China is also known to be working to destabilise Commonwealth countries such as Barbados.

When their less imaginative supporters on MN parrot 'Why do you care?' my response would be that while they certainly did much to destablise and undermine the UK by themselves, they have now become the focus for anti-British sentiment in the US particularly but also in the wider world. For some nefarious reason 'their truth' has been swallowed whole, and although nearly all their malicious accusations (which went unchallenged by OW) have been retracted, the mud has stuck and it's not good news for the UK, whether you are a monarchist or not.

It's the gaslighting for me. The squad would spread the craziest rumours then act outraged and play victim when you call them out. Christopher Bouzy is the perfect example. He would have discord meetings with the Squad, spread viles rumours (a royal fan infiltrated one of their meetings and recorded him accusing William of DV and speculating about the Waleses marriage) then he openly accused Catherine of lying about her cancer diagnosis. When the press called him out on him, he tried to play the victim and act like he was a victim of racism. And this is the man H&M featured in their Netflix series. That says enough.
