Imagine using the victims of a school shooting for attention and PR. There seem to be no depths to which this pair will not sink

Meghan and Harry sing happy birthday to school shooting victim family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make a surprise visit to Uvalde, Texas, to support the family of Irma Garcia, a teacher killed in the 2022 school shooting.

It’s just so ironic isn’t it that they left supposedly to become ‘philanthropists’ that this is the level they have sunk to. Playthings for people with seriously nefarious intentions. They’re both so naive and eager to promote themselves they’ve sold themselves to the devil. Much like David and Wallis with their Nazi sympathies and the people they hung out with.

MaisieMacabe · 31/03/2024 10:02

That's exactly what they've become, @LadyMuckonpancakes .

Isn’t that exactly what investigative journalists do though? Get close to the story? And platforms like twitter etc are all anonymous by design.

I was interested in the whole Bouzy saga, as I’ve picked up bits and pieces but never really known what was going on. I found this lengthy Wired article about him, with which he collaborated, but he was apparently very unhappy with how it turned out. Unfortunately however often people will write what they see and hear, not what you want them to.

‘Building a Platform Like Twitter Is Not Difficult’

When Elon Musk’s reign of toxic chaos began, Christopher Bouzy didn’t just go looking for a rival place to post. He joined the crowded race to create one. (It got difficult.)

There's some stuff I've seen in the last day or two about the Gates Foundation having funded Harry and Meghan's exit from the UK. Can anything involving these two get any more batshit?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 31/03/2024 10:50

Can anyone enlighten me? I know I shouldn't care, but this is like a car crash I can't stop looking at

I'd settle for knowing who he actually is, @MrsFinkelstein, beyond just another bozo H&M wheeled out to whine about how hard done to they are

Google suggests that, apart from being involved in some cryptocurrency scam, he just lives on Twitter and his own website, drumming up silly theories and trawling anything that'll get his name out there

God, what a life Confused

The only damage Bouzy is doing is to the Sussex Squad and H and M credibility, he won’t make much of a ripple outside of Twitter. In many ways it’s all the same players from the amber Heard days monetising contents, they drum up business for each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the squad were Amber Heard supporters. What happened the last time was the supporters started to argue amongst themselves and the direction they were going in, people got doxxed and in fighting began. Elon stopped Bouzy using twitters data. I block anyone from the Squad and anyone who uses Meghan derogatory names and TBH it’s only big to the people in the timelines or lifted by the press. So when the press call out Bouzy and the squad as trolls connected to Harry and Meghan that the lasting impression by the majority, not the slanging matches on Twitter.

AutumnCrow · 31/03/2024 12:47

I remember joining Twitter many years ago for professional purposes but hardly use it now. I seem to have utter drivel directed toward me, and constantly have to re-set, mute, block, etc. My recent new followers have been 50% bot.

I'm at the point of taking very little on their seriously.

Just to add to @LadyMuckonpancakes ‘s comment : It’s just so ironic isn’t it that they left supposedly to become ‘philanthropists’

It’s really APPALLING that they keep calling themselves philanthropists. Talk about delusional. Philanthropist donate their OWN money, it’s not about reissuing other people’s donations (g Archwell to promote themselves).

And in relation to many charities, all their expenses for/hotels travel and clothes are paid for by the charity e.g. Invictus, even though they are multimillionaires worth 100 million.

Today Page Six are reporting that Charles may invite H&M to Balmoral this summer.
https://pagesix.com/2024/04/09/royal-family/king-charles-may-extend-olive-branch-to-harry-and-meghan/

That’s a bit odd. There is basically an open invite, they are not no contact, and never have been, if harry and Megan want to come over to visit that’s always been an option, they just need to find a convenient time that suits Charles.

I don’t honestly think it is an open option at this point. It would need to be very carefully arranged and controlled. Harry said in the Oprah interview that his father was not taking his calls. There was a believable rumor that when asked why by QE, Charles said “Because I am not a bank, Mother.” Now we’ve also read that Camilla will not leave Harry alone with his father.

Everything was carefully managed when H&M came over for the jubilee. That was before Spare was released, before the Netflix documentary came out. I think it would be even more so now, particularly while Charles is dealing with his health.

They refused every invitation from the late Queen to visit Balmoral. When Archie was a few months old they said it was too far to travel but lo and behold managed to visit Elton in S France ( private jet of course).
The only time Meghan wanted to go to Balmoral was when HM died.

Well he rushed over when Charles announced his cancer and Charles saw him and it is widely reported they are in contact. I don’t mean he can drop in without notice, but more if they say they want to visit then I’d be sure Charles will find a time that is convenient for him.

AliceOlive · 10/04/2024 12:32

@Lampslights I think Charles will see him if he asks, but it will be very controlled and for a very short time. I found it odd and very telling that he stayed in a hotel on his last visit. Maybe it was his choice.

ArcaneWireless · 10/04/2024 12:32

I suppose it doesn’t fit the narrative that they could just phone up and ask if it is ok to pop over in the summer…

The use of may is the proof of it being speculatory pish.

Yes, but they will need to pay £150 each, which includes a cream tea.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 10/04/2024 12:34

Is it any worse than "humanitarians" when there's been so much cruelty on display - and not just to family members?

They will need to pay £150 each, which includes a cream tea

Seems to be a fee which sticks in the royal mind doesn't it? That's what Peter Philips charged charities to attend his "Patrons Lunch" when his company was said to have received £750k on a non-tendered deal

On this at least there's little point in criticising H&M for commercialising their brand when others do just the same - and FWIW Philips isn't a "working member of the RF" either

It's part and parcel of the modern world. Say something and keep repeating it and it will become "truth", no substance and basis in reality required.

True enough, except that with a lot of us it doesn't work

Wildly off topic but the business did not make a profit from that luncheon. It covered the expenses.
