It would be nice to have them back and getting along with the rest of the family, what do people think? They'd have to apologise and try to move forward in a positive way. With Charles being unwell and elderly, and the Wales kids too young to serve as working royals, the Sussex's may be needed. Trump may win the election, which could have a negative impact on them and Archie will start school soon, a great time to relocate home?? Apparently Meghan is looking for PR agencies to help her improve her image. Would the Uk welcome them?

If Charles is quite ill and William will be King soon, maybe they want the option to come back if they need to?

I don’t think it was about the trajectories, because once charles became they were treated the same.

I think it’s more that they, or she, didn’t realise that the decision about the Cambridge children was pure PR. It was completely to hide the fact that despite all the primogeniture changes the actual LPs, title passings and the likes within the royal family were (and to a massive extent are still) totally sexist.

I think it was just assumed that all the grandchildren would be titled early because there was no understanding that the titles were actually not about the children at all. Just about looking like they’d modernised more than they have.

I think you have zero idea how many mixed race and POC spend time on this board and openly share their own criticisms of Meghan and Harry. They are told it’s all hate. Told anyone can pretend to be anything here or just flat ignored.

I have two close American friends.

They told me that in America, they are taught from a very young age to be the best, to believe in themselves, that they were amazing.

I go to a book group every week with mixed nationalities. The Americans in the group always talk first and longest.

I think there was some xenophobia, some snootiness about her being an actress (she was referred to as 'the showgirl' by one member of the RF 😮), divorced, mixed race and successful in her own right before meeting Harry.

Harry so wanted it to be all racism, some trolly crap on twitter of course might have been but the criticism and scrutiny has been based on their behaviour not on the colour of her dm's skin.

The UK press have been nasty to a lot of female brides.

Except kate. She has never been targeted really.

It's not easy for any of them. Diana wasn't treated well either.

But the difference aswell is, meghan was from another country. She was likely to want to go back to her country if she was treated badly.

If we were American and married into the UK royal family and all of a sudden got a huge amount of abuse, wouldn't we all want to go back ro our home country where we know we would get less abuse. I'd be gone.

Kate has never been targeted? Where did the term Waity Katie come from then? She was also ruthlessly hounded by the paparazzi before marrying William. There were numerous horrible articles about her family, portraying them as determined social climbers. Kate and Pippa were apparently the 'Wisteria sisters'. There's been lots of negative stories about Carole as she is guilty of being a working class woman who has done well.
