Are Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lili coming back home?

It would be nice to have them back and getting along with the rest of the family, what do people think? They'd have to apologise and try to move forward in a positive way. With Charles being unwell and elderly, and the Wales kids too young to serve as working royals, the Sussex's may be needed. Trump may win the election, which could have a negative impact on them and Archie will start school soon, a great time to relocate home?? Apparently Meghan is looking for PR agencies to help her improve her image. Would the Uk welcome them?

I cannot imagine anything that would drag me away from a lovely life in california to put up with all the crap here.

I couldn’t wait to get back from Cali. The policing, guns, surgical enhancement, gridlock, fear etc. I even ended up missing the rain, so things must have been bad!

donteatthedaisies0 · 07/03/2024 19:27

No because I don't believe she ever accepted the pecking of the royal family . Would she ever accept a lower status than Kate ?

Portakalkedi · 07/03/2024 19:29

Can't imagine they would, the loss of face would be too much, and who in the family would want them or ever be able to trust them? They've made their bed.

Goforitagainandagain · 07/03/2024 19:31

The PR is just for if they visit not a house move

SleepingStandingUp · 07/03/2024 19:36

It would be good if they could find some peace between them, if Harry with or without Meaghan could bring the kids over for a few weeks to spend time with Charles, meet their cousins / extended family, if the brothers could put the past behind them and that when Charles does die that the whe family could be together to grieve without all this mess. I'd wish that of any family fractured in this way.

underthebun · 07/03/2024 19:37

If the royals need more hands they can draft in extended family. They don’t really “need” anyone in particular just for numbers

What like Andrew. 😆

StartupRepair · 07/03/2024 19:38

All the things they disliked are still in place. The restrictions against freebies, the Palace staff, the need to defer to more senior members, the public relations practices, the fact that no-one asks how you are when you are touring a developing country...they would last 2 weeks.

The Yorks - all of them - are a ghastly busted flush.

Yes. Thats clearly who I meant 🙄

I thought Andrew was back in the fold hence his appearance at the funeral

Salemforcuddles · 07/03/2024 19:45

I wouldn't have thought so

He was at the funeral because he was invited by the Greek royals.

it wasn’t a British RF event. The Brits were invited because of the family links

assuming you mean the recent funeral.

That was a private event, not a state one.

stillavid · 07/03/2024 19:47

I very much doubt they would want to come back, especially Meghan. I think they would need to be offered a very different deal to what they had previously.

I also think they could be ummm re-habilitated in the eyes of the public - I mean the RF did it for Camilla after all.

They were booed at Invictus in Canada the other week.

Were they? Off to read more about this.

If I was William and Kate I wouldn’t be trusting them again.

goingdownfighting · 07/03/2024 19:49

I hope there is an away for them to get along.

Family is precious, and family rifts are awful. So many missed opportunities for love, affection and support.

I speak from experience. And it can come round albeit with time compromise and maturity. Hopefully it will for them. I can see both sides, there's so much hurt and angst.

I think a move back is a big stretch by any imagination. They haven't even been in the same room together. Stuff like this takes years, especially when under such scrutiny.

Why would they return to a country they had to “ flee” from because the press were so horrible ? Why would they want anything to do with a family who made racist comments and who didn’t treat them as the stars they are ?
According to their supporters they are living their best life so why would they want to return here ?
It would be a brave PR person who tried to turn around H and M’s reputation in the U.K. !

Not everyone feels like you do, you know!

No they won't be back. Hope not for their sakes

Search youtube, lots of footage of the incident on there.

underthebun · 07/03/2024 19:50

I'm just basing my assertions on all the press headlines.

Yep, remember all the "she will never be our queen".

skullbabe · 07/03/2024 19:52

They are already home and have no need to come back.

Overtheatlantic · 07/03/2024 19:54

Why would they return after they’ve made a home for themselves in California? The gutter press might be howling for them to return but Charles has an heir.

Nw22 · 07/03/2024 19:55

@goingdownfighting family isn’t so precious when they make a living selling horrible stories about you
