Photography hobbyists and aficionados unite.

Welcome to the thread where you can display and discuss some of the most iconic photos captured by some of the most talented photographers.

These aren't your average Instagram photos. Oh no. These are the ones that live in your head rent free. The Marie Kondo of photos that spark joy. Where everything in the photo is perfection.

This thread is meant to be fun, light-hearted, and showcase the talents of those behind the lens.

Please do not derail, and do not use this thread to be snarky or have a dig about subjects you don't like, or to other posters. If you cannot keep in the spirit of the thread, then please don't participate or spoil it for others.

This one of the then Princess Alexandra of Denmark on her and Prince Joachims wedding day. She just looks so in love and utterly happy.

Also really enjoyed reading from the posters who had a personal connection with the photographers - very cool!

I love this photo so much. It feels like she's really wearing the weight of her duty and responsibilities.

Yes, all her dresses were stunning and that one was the most stunning of all.

It doesn't hurt that she has the face, height and figure of a model, that her husband is handsome and that the reception took place on her family's own private island.

The rich are different from you and me!

@upinaballoon we were wrong!

The poster of the photo came back and said who it was, but i've forgotten the name! Blush
<brain like a sieve>

My eyes are going crossed looking at this screen so I'll catch up the inbetweeny pages tomorrow. All I can say is that little Grace Kelly must have looked a lot like that :)

If you google ‘Charles and Camilla laughing’ there are loads of really fab photos of them looking like they’re having the best time, no one can tell me they aren’t a great match

Yes- I agree. They are very happy.

If France still had their monarchy it would be this man, Prince Louis de Bourbon, and his family. A very good looking family!

I can't imagine that any member of the British royal family would be shot manspreading like that though....

He arguably has a better claim to the throne of Spain than King Felipe but his grandfather renounced his right to the throne. He also descends from Franco!

Mia and the handbag pic is the one for me!

Also, there is a pic above of the King and Queen (former) of Spain, I think it's either their wedding or the coronation. Anyway, the crowns are held on a kind of "stick" where the crown hovers over their heads ready to be positioned in place. I thought, what a brilliant idea. Just saying....

Slight deviation

Not read all the thread. But it’s an important part of Greek Orthodox service (it’s Greek royals in photos) bride and groom are crowned with stephana (mini crowns) to show king and queen of their new family.

As far as I know only royalty go for proper crowns.

The priest blesses couple 3 times & after service parents, grandparents, godparents and aunts and uncles bless you with the crowns also.

I remember that wedding and they were so into each other. Sad how it ended. Alexandra was extremely popular with the Danes and would’ve given Mary a run for her money!

Here are a couple I wanted to share. George and the Queen on the balcony- I just love the way he is looking at her. And Princess Madeleine of Sweden dressed up as a princess for a little girls' tea party.

In the spirit of wanting to keep this going, I'll kick it off today with the woman I think of as THE BOSS! What an amazing queen she would have been if only she'd been born first and/or the rulz were different. She'd have queened it up as good as her mum did I reckon! 😂

Agree!

I think she'd have "monarch-ed" it to the hilt!
