I assumed they wanted to shut down the coma/on the run speculation as the timing was a little suspect. There’s only one photo which is a bit odd for the paps too.

I don’t think they would release a statement saying she isn’t a coma because it’s nonsense for one but a photo speaks a thousand words.

The sort of people who were creating or believing the noise are now making up more conspiracy theories about the photo though. Which could have been anticipated. So on balance I think probably not set up. I hope they didn’t give into the mob anyway.

I don’t think it was a set up. If they were going to set one up it wouldn’t be around the school run imo. They wouldn’t take the chance on making that seem fair game.

Plus a long range papped style shot was only ever going to add more speculation rather than quell it.

And if they were bothered by the divorce/william beat her style conspiracies any set up would have involved them being seen together imo

I don’t mind being called a fan actually but have been asked by a specific poster not to do this. It highly offends at least one poster who’s posting on this thread when I described “fans of H&M”, lacking a better phrase. So I stopped using it though I might slip up occasionally.

I am not anyone’s fan but like did love HMQ. Despised her being clapped back online at by her grandson. I criticize behavior only, don’t discuss bodies or marriages. Compliment where I can do so sincerely.

With Kate, she started dating William, she was stalked by paparazzis for years, the press were not kind to her and her family. Even after marrying William, the press got better but it wasn't that great either, the pressure of being "perfect" all the time, all the scandals of the past few years, the press pitting her against Meghan for years

My mum and I were talking about Kate recently and she told me: "how this girl never had a mental breakdown, I'll never understand".

As for her marriage, I'm not saying anything is going on but I don't understand why people think W&K would hide a separation

I’m appalled by the lady threatening details and photos. But apparently that’s fair game to those of you who are picking Catherine’s life apart now? He was on the payroll at that point.

He was responsible for his own behaviour though. No long lenses or phone hacking or wild conspiracy theories involved. So on that basis she’s scum for the threats, but he was stupid and out of control and I have no sympathy.
