The press has published pics of HRH with her mum in mum Audi on a
"school run." HRH was seated in the front passenger seat.

Wishing HRS Kate a speedy recovery!!

I love the fact that in Toffeetalk’s world, if some takes sick leave for an extended periods, the only possible options are that they are secretly in a coma, or getting a divorce.

I'm frankly a little scared of what goes on in @ToffeeTalk 's world!
😲🤣

I've debunked the affair/separation rumor twice on this thread. I'm not sure why it keeps getting repeated as a fact, because some twits on social media think Dan Wooten and Giles Coren are credible men.

I’m guessing disappointment features quite heavily😁

My theory and I stress that as pure theory!!

Is that it's possible she had some kind of a transplant - it can be an abdominal surgery, long recovery, immunosupressants that would stop the travels and potentially make her look poorly, no definitive date when she will return etc. I think this makes sense and technically, what KP said about the surgery and recovery is true but without revealing the details. The sudden surgery and informing about it after the event also ties in. Maybe a donor was found just then.

I obviously don't know but that's what it looks like to me.

Who knows why they're keeping it private, maybe concerns about rejection, maybe they didn't want the children to worry, maybe it comes with a risk of reduced life expectancy. Maybe they didn't want speculation if she was bumped up the list, who knows.

This might well not be the case, I simply think it all points towards it tbh. I wish her a good, strong recovery after what was clearly a major health issue and surgery.

I've equally no idea what this means. I can't recall ever having had a swollen face. Maybe once, after a car accident when I was at uni? I do know a bit about law though. Any settlement would be extremely complex.

Unlike you, I don’t know much about the law admittedly, but even I know pretending to have an operation to distract and cover up that you’re really finalising extremely complex settlements isn’t a thing.

But no not coma. I used the coma example as one of the far fetched ideas on social media which I absolutely didn’t think was even a tiny bit credible.

It’s breathtaking how the slightest suggestion that Kate and William aren’t blissfully happy and supremely perfect in every way causes such problems on these threads.

No I agree. I heard that there was a minor procedure and that now it’s being used to give Kate time to reconsider.

Having seen the photo, not sure.

Perhaps she writes for daytime soap operas.

Where did you hear that?

IwishIcouldfinishabook · 06/03/2024 16:50

It doesn't matter how happy or unhappy they are. I don't think they will ever divorce. She has spent her entire adult life in the Royals orbit and given up her entire life to William. Her children more or less belong to the Royals.

Yes but that’s been coming from your direction, the ’suggestions’ as well as the ‘problems’ 😆

I like how talking to you makes me feel like a literary character. Alice, when she goes through that looking glass 😀

If what you say is true about the kids "belonging to the royals", then that just proves how above the law they are.

Surely (amicable) custody arrangements would include separate hols for each party and that would include Christmas.

What a rabbit hole it would be.

londonguild · 06/03/2024 17:03

I think she's had some kind of bowel surgery. I wouldn't be surprised if she has crohns as she is thin.
She might be having to get to grips with managing a stoma and maybe she is currently on steroids.
I really hope this is not the case, however it could be likely.

Luckily we don’t have to look back too far to see the custody arrangements Diana had with William and Harry to realise that the kids “belonging to the royals” is nowhere near accurate.

I don't know enough about them to say literally they belong to the Royals, but I don't think Diana or Fergie got to spend Christmas with their kids, and ultimately, I cant see how the Royals decisions wont take priority, especially over George.

I don't think many posters are particularly invested in the state of the Wales' marriage but watching you obsess about it is strangely compelling & a definite guilty pleasure 😁

Quizine · 06/03/2024 17:21

Well, I know I will probably be castigated for speculating again, but if the kids can't spend Christmas with their mum (Kate obv) then that is a bad bad reason for staying together if things are not working out.

I repeat, I am just musing here.

I love that this thread has become so beyond batshit, you felt the need to clarify that “Kate obv” is the kids’ mum. I don’t think we’ve had the fake-baby-bump conspiracy theory yet – perhaps the abdominal surgery was to splice on some stretch marks after questions were asked by a super stomach recogniser.
