Definitely seems plausible that one of the most recognisable women in the world decided to have dramatic-enough surgery on her face that it put her out of action for a couple of months, with no notice, and put out a press release claiming it was something different instead, just to draw more attention. What’s the next part of the plan, just shimmy back to much-photographed public engagements and hope no one notices the new face? In this economy?

Divorce and facelift aren’t mutually exclusive. I recall saying that I thought marriage issues were a very plausible explanation. Having seen the photo there’s clearly a difference in Kate’s face, so something is going on but it doesn’t necessarily mean steroids and the corollary of that. Kate may actually prefer people thinking she has had a facelift to everyone dwelling on stoma bags, since she can’t stem speculation. Also, I’m certainly not guilty of contributing to pressure on Kate to look youthful and immaculate. I’ve never commented on her looks or even thought about them tbf, so conscience is clean on that one, if that is the surgery she’s had done. I don’t think one can rely on ‘abdominal’ much more than one can rely on anything these people say.

The timing is as good as any other. Kate uses Botox so she’s in the zone. And the pressure to look perfect is madness. When would be a better time of year? Makes sense just after Christmas tbf.

I totally respect her work with the charity, which started years before the Epstein scandal, but a part of me still think she and her sister should've released a statement, maybe saying that they're always on the side of the victims, something like that.

If she has had a facelift then I would blame all those people who focus on her looks endlessly rather than Kate herself for being vain. That particular pressure must be intolerable.
