"school run." HRH was seated in the front passenger seat.

If the photo is Kate, she looks so different it’s raised more questions than before. The surgery is obviously more than a hysterectomy. You don’t stay in hospital for two weeks for those.

“The Princess of Wales has been photographed by paparazzi for the first time since her abdominal surgery, seen being driven by her mother near Windsor Castle as she continues her recovery.
The Princess, wearing sunglasses, was photographed at long-range in the passenger seat, with Carole Middleton at the wheel.
The photographs are reported to have been taken shortly before 9am on a Monday, suggesting the mother and daughter may have been on their way back from the school run.
It is the first time the Princess has been photographed since Christmas Day, when she walked to Sandringham with the rest of the Royal family.”

Maybe it's the relentless ridiculous speculation rumours conspiracy theories and batshit nonsense what did it. Leave her alone. All these women on moaning about I had to do this and I had to do that, she has got staff helping her blah blah blah...of course every woman on here martyring themselves online would turn down the help, refuse to take sick leave and be back at work suffering away while the eyes of the world investigated every orifice a/ just to make sure you are who you say you are b/ what actually was wrong with you !! and ps did your husband have an affair. No wonder they want to keep themselves private.

Then this is no different from lots of other news items that are rubbished because the Palace have not officially confirmed it is true.
The tabloids publish lots of things about the royal family. Why should this story be more valid than others?

The Daily Mail have said similar before about news stories no one believes. I will wait for confirmation from the pALACE.

No it's highly intrusive is the Press to take pictures of a woman in recuperation from surgery.

I don't know why there's doubt about this. As others have said, if it was Pippa the British media would have said so and published the photo. The Fail could've had multiple articles about Pippa and Carole helping out, their close relationship, here's a thousand photos of them together in the past etc.

The most interesting and important discussion is the invasion of privacy in the taking and publishing of the photos. There is no amount of money I'd accept to be in her shoes the poor thing.

I'd not thought of this but blimey - that's a big deal and would explain the length of recovery.

Looking at that photograph and her facial definition, assuming it is her, I wonder if she is having to take steriods.

That has actually really upset me on her behalf. I'd just assumed that it would be something like a hysterectomy or gallbladder or similar which whilst a big deal is something that you'd move on from

If the issue is what @rubytubeytubes suggests which makes a huge amount of sense, then god imagine going through that and the whole world speculating and prodding why you aren't back at work?

Someone I was very close to went through similar and that was very tough physically and emotionally.

The online Twitter army are galvanised by their self righteousness, probably because of Omid’s/Harry’s name leaks, and are pot stirring like crazy. All whilst Kate is clearly unwell and recovering. The humanitarian halo has well and truly slipped.

I think it's more likely someone on the other end of the phone saying "Officially, no comment. Unofficially, if you publish those photos, your competitors will get the first photos of the children at every major occasion for the next decade."

There are no press exclusives for the senior royals - their engagements are either very public (and they can't really exclude any accredited organisation from those), or the coverage is pooled
