If I recall correctly, there were one or two appearances as a couple, then he hosted her birthday bash and not long after they announced their engagement. FWIW I like Sarah Ferguson. I'm old enough to remember the 'rivalry' the press cooked up between her and Diana, constantly comparing them, and Sarah always copped the bad press, even before the toe sucking etc. I think she comes across as a people pleaser who just wants to be liked, and it's easy to make mistakes when you have that kind of personality. She's not perfect but who is?
Prince Philip didn't like her, but it's important to remember the Queen did and I think she was a canny old bird who could tell a good egg from a bad egg.

I was thinking that as well. We are being softened up.

Royal Lodge is massive so they can live together whilst still probably not seeing each other, yet have a family home/base for their children.

I’ve no idea if they are a couple but they seem to genuinely get on well and enjoy each other’s company. Fergie spent time in America and has been bankrupt yet always has Royal Lodge to go back to.

I can see the benefits for both of them. Both have been said in the media to have dated others since their divorce.

I think that Fergie is a good cover for Andy; he probably hopes( or his PR team has told him) that she will remind us plebs that he was once thought of as a reasonable dad and husband
And she cannot believe her luck that she is back in the Royal fold
i found that film of them all walking yesterday very depressing; can’t explain why; just felt like the future of the RF is not looking good: Mike Tindall, Fergie and Andrew…… stardust definitely disappeared

I'm not meaning the under-age bit. I mean if trafficking can be proven in any court case does the law consider the age to be irrelevant?

It was long said that Fergie would be welcomed back and they would remarry once Philip died.

Obviously a big fancy wedding for Andrew would be terrible optics right now but it does seem she is publicly welcomed back as his partner now whenever he does (unfortunately) appear.

Everything I have read leads me to believe that if someone is sex trafficked, their age is irrelevant

I don't think she was the only one to have an affair - I doubt he was faithful even before they got married - far too much galvanting around the world on his own with out the family etc. I think she has been treated terribly by the media over the years as well.

I suspect Fergie has been allowed back into the royal fold to try and keep Andrew in line and away from any other dodgy pals he has. They have the corgis now to amuse them and hopefully that will keep them both quiet with a low profile.

I suspect after the antics of Andrew she is now just considered a bit of a handful who got carried away from time to time.

I suspect she went to A’s house for shelter - she couldn’t afford her own home. The house she had belongs to her DD.

Fergie owns a £4m house in Mayfair but there is speculation it was bought for her by her daughters when it looked like Andrew would have to leave Royal Lodge.

I still think it's odd that Kate and William and three kids are living in a 4 bed cottage at Windsor while Andrew and Fergie have 30 room Royal Lodge. Andrew has a 70 year lease on Royal Lodge but probably can't afford the running cost and maintenance unless funded by Charles. Am sure the plan at one point was to try and buy him out for Kate and William so that could happen. Am sure William won't want to fund his uncle when he is King.

I do know some, repeat some over 60s who are just comfortable being around each other with no need for anything else. For me the biggest question is why, in regards to Fergie, I can see what Andrew gets out of it but not Fergie.

She gets to live in a 30 bedroom house, she gets to be seen as part of the RF ie going to church and the biggest of all, money.
