I just read an article in the DM about this. I really honestly couldn't believe he would do this. I just hope it isn't true. Just how could he. Privacy????.

When and where is this money-spinning exercise, sorry, interview, due to be screened?

😂😂😂 Yeah, right. Like they deal with it on every other thread on MN. It’s a public forum, we are all adults, and guess what - we’re allowed to swear. Shock horror !!

For those saying Harry was discreet about his conversation with KC - has it occurred to you that he wasn’t given any details ? I think the brief chat would have been very general ; good flight ? How are the children? Etc Harry will not know any more about the King’s health or Catherine’s problems than the rest of us .

I thought the same.

Or - "How dare you speak to my wife like that? Get out of here you little t*rd!"

Folks, if you don't like a discussion, you can hide the thread. Personal attacks break our talk guidelines and will result in suspensions. We're doing our level best to keep these threads civil, so would appreciate if you could bear this in mind.

It actually comes from Roman times, when commanders and politicians were wxpected to commit suicide when they e.g lost a battle of got outmanouvred politically.

You beat me to it. Plus if they killed themselves their families could keep their property.

If the Roman state executed them, then the state confiscated the property.

Yes! I'm sure H&M are more concerned about her teeth and his todger than they are about Pa. Honestly what a despicable selfish pair. I can't understand anyone who defends them.

An unfortunate juxtaposition of body parts @derxa 😬

Edit because had missed start of sentence out.

Invictus should not be the Harry & Meghan show. It should be focussed on the Vets.

H&M seem to have zero self awareness. They’re despicable people.

Think KC needs ro fall on his sword,

Do you know what 'fall on his sword ' means?

It means give-in.

I thought it meant to commit suicide.

I hope KC won't do that.

I’m not part of the Harry and Meghan fan club, although I’m not a huge royalist either, but I a thread on here recently people were complaining about William because he hasn’t come out and said anything about his dads health and now people are complaining because Harry has.

Sometimes I think this family simply can’t get it right because someone will always disapprove of what they did, how they did it and why. I imagine it’s fucking tough to have every moment scrutinised and people waiting to say you got it wrong. If Harry hadn’t come he would have been called heartless. He has come so he’s trying to get attention. If he hadn’t spoken Or refused to answer the question he’d likely have been called uncaring. He has responded to the question therefore he’s trying to make money off of his family.

As I say, I don’t care much about H&M, but Christ the bloke can’t do right. No matter what he does, someone will have an issue with it depending on where they sit on the fence.

Maireas · 16/02/2024 19:28

Harry put himself in that situation by monetising attacks on his family. He has made it a hot topic. There was no need.

Janiie · 16/02/2024 19:30

' I say, I don’t care much about H&M, but Christ the bloke can’t do right'

This is true. He needs ro enrol on a sefl awareness course stat to assist and guide him with his poor decision making.

He isn't in the know about his df but he's pretending his presence was required, it wasn't. If I was ill the last thing I'd want is the family's biggest shit stirrer pitching up on my doorstep.

The difference is, when someone behaves badly it is hard to see them in a good light or to accept they do things for the right reasons.

Maybe that’s how you feel, but if I had cancer I’d want to see my children no matter what had happened between us.

All of this is pure speculation. No one knows what conversations were had, how Charles feels, what information Harry has. And you’ll never know as they’ll never say. And even if they did, half the population wouldn’t believe one or the other anyway as anything they do is always a cover up for x or a way to spin the media or make money. This thread is largely anti-Harry, the other one I read recently was anti-the rest of them.

"And also stuff about the family uniting. When he has done his best to cause rifts."

I think he was put on the spot a bit by the question about illness unifying families and I think he side-stepped quite cleverly and turned it into the RF, his own family of M,A and L, and the families of all the folk who take part in Invictus, coming together in the face of illness/injury.

That doesn't mean I have unbounded admiration for Harry, but I have already said that he was polite in this interview and there didn't seem to me to be a load of obfuscating rot.
