I think MM made a decision to not talk about or refer to the RF, publicly at least, after the Netflix thing. She hasn’t said anything about them or that part of her life, she’s left it all to Harry. Notably absent during the Spare promos, didn’t stop in the UK on the way to invictus - just nothing (other than her titles and obviously her children getting their ‘birthright’ Prince / Princess titles). She’s been roundly rejected by the British public and by the RF, and I’m pretty sure she would have hated being relegated and ignored as she was during the platinum jubilee festivities and HMQ’s funeral. She knows she’s lost this battle. If she does speak about it again, she will make out as though she’s evolved from it, moved beyond, left it all behind - that she’s left the old fashioned dross behind and has newer, fancier things to do. It’s Harry’s family drama, not hers.
Of course, she’s never one to let hypocrisy stand in her way (Eg clinging onto titles for dear life, claiming them for her DC because “birthright”, or acknowledging with even the slightest humility that she’s only where she is now because of who she married). And given what we know about her ruthless approach to her own family, you can only imagine how she might be towards her in-laws (Charles she’ll suck up to until his dying day because he can do the most damage, cutting off any remaining purse strings/inheritance).
