The ability for the rich to stay rich is never ending. If charity is the goal then place the money with those who can do a good job. How can this amount of money generate such high wages, expenses and legal fees. Well I know the answer

Phobias are a MH issue, Scooby really is a nasty piece of work if he claimed that. I've just googled PE meeting the crowds after HM died and he wasn't wearing gloves.

I have my opinion (and experience), you have yours, @AliceOlive . The lack of transparency attached to entities registered there (including the location of the business and identity of company officers) is something I personally find hard to trust. However, that's my point of view from the UK, where we have a great deal of information on corporate entities available publicly. You no doubt have a different experience and perspective being based in the US.

And I'd love to know what Edward and Sophie has apparently done to piss off scoobie ( or Meghan!) , as far as I'm aware they were pointed out as being particularly welcoming!

I suppose as they can't get a rise out of KC or the Waleses they're going for another target.

Sophie was a favourite of the Queen. That puts her in the wrong.
Sophie was rejected as a mentor by Meghan. DARVO puts her in the wrong.
Sophie didn't want to talk to them at the Commonwealth Ceremony (when MM wore green and everyone else stuck to the dress code). That puts Sophie in the wrong.
Sophie didn't want to talk to MM at the Queen's funeral. That puts her in the wrong.
Sophie didn't want to talk to journalist, Camila Tominey about the Oprah interview, deflecting the question with, "Oprah who?" That makes her a bigot.

Meghan just doesn't seem to be able to help herself with this desperate need to clap back/upstage anything that the Wales family does.

The Archewell video released today is really bad - like something some young teens would throw together. Despite it allegedly being in relation to the work of Archewell - there is nothing that explains anything about the work or the projects. It is a mostly a string of meet and greets with little to explain who the people she is meeting actually are and how the event relates to Archewell at all.

I know. Just when you think they can't stoop any lower.

Plus Sophie owned her own PR company before and after her marriage to Edward so she is likely pretty wise to the type of ploys Meghan and her team use and especially the sort of D-list/reality show stunts that Meghan seems to favour. Pap strolls organised by calling Backgrid, gossip planted by her team or manifesting aspirations (announcing you want an invitation to something in the hope that one appears ie the Oscars, the Obama party, Christmas at Sandringham)

It’s all so odd. The video which is just look at us doing charitable works,but we won’t give the charities a mention, and the two donors, giving a million each to keep it alive. Saves the shame of it folding. And a quarter of the two million on salaries alone for 5 people. How much was actually given to charity?

I don’t understand how they have such limited grasp of social norms and acceptability. The archewell thing makes them look like complete con artists.

H&M could do with a lesson from Mr Beast on philanthropy. At least I’ve heard of him doing things they just seem to pap walk smile and wave with no clue as to what or who they are helping. Plus he makes fun videos rather than yawn woe is me statements.

Is there any report of how much of the money has actually been handed over to the projects, it didn't seem to be mentioned in the promo video!

@Lunde Good point. Sophie was a very normal and savvy business woman and non Stepford Wife type, who has been able to adapt into the RF and become a beloved and admired member. So another black mark for defying OS's theories that only certain types of women are welcome. Sophie also had her problems and scandals, but didn't run away.

@jeffgoldblum I don't know why they are attacking Edward. Guilt by association, probably. Possibly because, once he got the coveted Duke of Edinburgh title, he and Sophie outranked the Sussexes?

I've noticed that they never, ever criticise Andrew....
