It’s all been rehashed so many times that these excerpts are now looking rather tired, but yet very tarnished.
OS really is a creep. Of course he isn’t the first or won’t be the last to try and make money selling his version of events of famous royals. Lordy be the late Princess of Wales had enough of them, and still does many years after her death.
But there is something deeply unedifying about a spokesperson who has been linked to H&M in the past trying to infer insider information about family dynamics pertaining to the hours leading up to and immediately after The Queen’s death. Some things just need to remain private.
It’s also beyond ridiculous to suggest that timescales could have been altered to fit in with travel logistics for PH when the whole operation and planned communication strategies had been in place for years in relation to Her Majesty’s death. It was clear to anyone watching BBC news that afternoon with presenters changing into black tie and talking in somber tone that she had either already died or was very imminently going to do so. But I suppose he’s writing for the American market who may be more gullible to lapping up his hogwash.
I think at the end of the day H&M need to put some very clear distance between themselves and OS.
