I'm not disagreeing that the phrase is exceedingly offensive, but honestly I've checked previous comments and I saw the deleted posts, it wasn't on them ! , they were directed at the poster they we're arguing with and were questioning claims.

Me too. And I know how upsetting it is to be called a liar about something that is deeply personal and sometimes painful.
It happened to me once when I opened up about something, and it was so so hurtful. I'd bared my soul just a little bit and was accused of lying. So Cake knows she has my sympathies.

So, I wanted to see exactly what this fuss was all about and what Harry actually said.

It's one fucking sentence, part of a list of things he is angry about. A very specific list.

"I was angry about what happened to these guys(the three guys in the plane with him), I was angry the media weren't covering it, I was angry I got pulled out".

Then the Sun ,for example, took that and made it all about themselves, even making it sound like the comments Harry made were aimed at them. How they did report,care etc. and drummed up titles,outrage,income,sales,quotes.

the offensive post was up for almost a full day, I reported it. I gave it time to see if anyone else who posted after would report or say something, because we always get the 'never seen it' comments about the racism on here. So anyone saying they saw the attacks on me but didn't;t see that comment, must have selective memory or only looks out for certain posters perhaps. When @MrsMaxDeWinter posted about it, as it was about her, it was still there.

Slight derail but as a PP linked it I'm going to comment - that's a very unfortunate picture of PH at Beyoncé's concert that features in the Sun. I assume there are better pics than that out there and the Sun has picked the worst? I saw Beyoncé in London in June and she was fab, everyone was having the best time and I'd have been a bit embarrassed if I was there with someone who had a face like that!

Posters may be confused about it, MrsMax and I objected to a post nobody else responded to that calling Meghan 'non-white'. The other remarks deleted today were not about that and I won't discuss deleted posts further. But I think is clear that many posters ignored it, including after MrsMax posted a response.
