I've no idea why people can't see his negative attitude flies in the face of what the vets represent and as such I sadly think it won't be long until he is asked to stand aside.

Harry DID complain that it was the British Press who leaked the fact he was in Afganistan, whereas it was in fact the Australian and US Press who leaked the story first

If so, maybe Harry didn't know it either - or maybe he just thought it was another thing to chuck around in the hope nobody would pick up on yet another "inconsistency"

and in fairness, they all get it, and celebrities of any sort get it when out with partners. Its just like the town gossips really except much more intense obviously. the way people read into their expressions is a waste of time.

She ( and Harry ) could voluntarily stop using their titles . If her time in the RF was so bad that it affected her MH then I would have thought not using her title would be a good way to distance herself from them .

Like I said earlier Ben McBean’s thought process (the veteran with the double amputation) is actually more nuanced than reported in the article in the Daily Mail - many people on these threads and he is saying that he felt that the media did report on physical injury in veterans but that perhaps the public did not really care and he acknowledged that mental health and especially PTSD was not really discussed. But again in the context of a discussion about PTSD in veterans and how the research states that it is more likely to occur in veterans who have unresolved trauma (like the death of a parent) - Harry’s discussion of his antecedent trauma was not out of place.

It’s such a shame that these veterans stories are not being listened to just because of the need to paint Harry as whining and playing victim when he does no such thing in this series. Oh well.

Well, that's arguable. He's made that part of his work and identity for the last few years, you'll have to admit. I'm just going to agree with pp who say, maybe just focus on the veterans, maybe just leave himself out of it, just for this. He has many platforms for telling his story and explaining his feelings.
