When posters have nothing good to say about ANYTHING that Meghan does, even scrutinising as you and others once famously did, the way she holds her hand to her face, when you itemise the Botox you claim she had (while howling that Kate has had none, none at all how dare you etc) , when the white Markles are defended and Doria vilified,
You are talking about all the things I personally have done here. You are quite wrong about several of the assertions you make, though.
I have said that several things that Meghan has done are good and praiseworthy. I often push back against posters that try to minimise her success in a cutthroat industry before she met Harry. I have praised her confidence as a public speaker and often post compliments about what she has worn.
I did point out how she holds her hand or hands up to her face, yes - I also pointed out that she does it because it takes a beautiful picture and she is very aware of the power of a still image. There’s plenty of video footage of her loosely clasping her hands at chest level while standing on stage at the Kevin Costner event in Santa Barbara this week too, by the way.
I have pointed out several times that Kate has obviously had Botox too (it’s quite obvious, particularly as she stops when pregnant). I’m not aware that I’ve defended the Markles - I often posted how Meghan had all my sympathy for the way her family was acting around her wedding (although I later formed the view that the whole family dynamic is toxic, and I no longer saw Meghan as simply the victim of it). I’ve also never vilified Doria, I don’t think.
So if you chose to attack me personally, get your facts straight. I was a big supporter of Meghan’s initially, actually - I thought she came across as an amazing women with a fantastic opportunity to really achieve amazing things by having the platform and money of the Royal Family behind her. But eventually I realised my cognitive bias towards her was leading me into ever more tortuous justifications of behaviours that really, didn’t stand up to scrutiny (or only pointed one way) and once I realised that, I couldn’t do it any longer.
