No great surprise there... Would love to hear his story about Zooming Prince Harry, I can only imagine his frustration with the whining ninny!

All I want is to be a fly on the wall watching her go off on one, wailing about how everyone is horrible and she is perfect and Harry is nervously following her around, bowing and stooping to pick up her hair extensions that she's ripped out in a fury and consoling her with "Yes dear, no dear, whatever you say dear...!"

She strikes me as the kind of person who would make a fuss of a cat when the cameras are on her, all smiles and fussing over the cat and then when the camera has stopped rolling and the door is shut, the smile turns into a scowl and the cat gets booted up the arse.

Replace the word cat with Harry and that's about right.

So now Meghan is being accused of being the kind of person who kicks cats, and her husband? OR just her husband?

Imagine the reaction here if I said that Charles seems like the kind of man who pretends to be nice in public but kicks corgis and his wife behind closed doors? I mean, maybe he does do that? Maybe that's why Camila doesn't actually live with him? and what if I said that I wanted to a fly on the wall watching this? Honestly, do people not have any lines they won't cross?

FloofCloud · 19/06/2023 12:51

The difference is @Iwantcakeeveryday that MM clearly has an 'I'm on camera so I'll fake smile and fake me until they're off' ... KC however has been known to kick off, cameras or no cameras

I'd also think she's the type to have a very different facade off camera and when minions are surrounding her

Clearly? So because someone smiles and you have decided they're not a genuine person, its ok to say they're violent?

FloofCloud · 19/06/2023 12:57

@Iwantcakeeveryday - I think they were trying to indicate what sort of person MM seems to be like if you piece the bits together ... completely different when not 'on stage'

Vermin · 19/06/2023 13:24

If there’s any truth in the dior thing (& my personal belief is that they get some free clothes from them and are using their or to try and squeeze it into a brand ambassadorship or endorsement), I don’t imagine it could be for clothes. She’s a good looking woman but has a history of very poor choices / fit with her clothes - she’s simply not known for being well dressed or a fashion person (remember her wearing her cruise collection dress to a nursing home in the middle of winter for eg?). Her size / shape don’t lend themselves to being a clothes horse. The biggest obstacle of all is that she doesn’t attend the type of event that they want their clothes on - no Oscar / Grammy / vanity fair party / met ball type of events and no reason for them to start attending
for perfume, they need filmed content and again, she’s just not going to be right / aspirational for swinging in a trapeze or rushing through fields of roses. They use serious actresses for taht for a reason.
that does however leave makeup, and she likes to wear a shitton of it, plus it only needs photos - she doesn’t need to be invited anywhere, the pictures can be edited and she looks good. My guess would be for a Ltd make up arrangement- though that of course would prevent her from doing her own line w hi ch is where the real money is (Rihanna/ Millie Bobbie brown/ j lo / kylie Jenner etc etc).

I would love a separate thread for @TrashyPanda ’s deranged liver to do it’s own q&a - fascinating

I wonder if that humiliating 'car chase' in NY was the final straw for her. She and Doria were very downcast / non-reactive in the car, while H was all over the place, filming with his phone, issuing orders. Then came the daft 'spokesperson' statement (which I think was him) and more ridicule from the media and social media.

Meghan lost 'her' night and it became all about him. Massive red flag, as some would say on MN.

Meghan will do what makes Meghan successful. And we all have feet of clay.

It's very odd how she's the one who gets all the hate, when it's clearly him who is the dick in the relationship. It's like when the husband cheats, yet the OW gets attacked. It's strange how so many women do this. It's always the women who attack the woken and the men seem to get away with it and just sit back and watch

The meghan haters are the same kind of people that dunked nadiya hussain’s head in a toilet when she was a teenager. Bullies never change, just change their methods.

Agree, very well said

a violent person? based on what exactly? Nothing she has said or done would indicate such a thing. Ive had the shit kicked out of me before and I find this comment to be insanely insensitive at best.

I think if we are going to go down the road of wild speculation based on personal dislikes, I could piece quite a lot of bits together about Charles, the company he keeps, writing letters to get a pedo priest out of trouble, giving the pedo priest a home, helping mummy cover up for a brother who was friends with a child sex trafficker... I mean lets start piecing some bits together about him and coming up with our own version of events shall we? or no?

FloofCloud · 19/06/2023 14:08

Go for it @Iwantcakeeveryday - I'm not really into the RF so wouldn't bother me ... however this is a thread about H&M

AutumnCrow · 19/06/2023 14:14

Bloody hell, I've got the radio on, one of those commercial stations with lots of golden oldie music, and the news included 'H&M have been called grifters by a Spotify executive'.

What next on Radio Musical Delights - 'Boris Johnson resigns as an MP'?!

Anyway, the Spotify stuff is still kind of current, is my point. Still news. Although sanitised.

Totally agree.

Talk about adding 2 and 2 together and making 7!

Very wrong to say Meghan is a violent person. How low can people go in their dislike of her?
She now goes into major rages, inflicts DA on Harry and kicks cats.

I read it the same way you did @FloofCloud

There will be no need for some to start deflecting but they will. The thread is about H&M but you will never be able to find a thread about them which doesn’t bring everyone else - and his cat - into it.

To me, all that was being said is that some can show themselves to be one thing when the spotlight is on them and be another person all together at home. I wouldn’t have worded it the same way but I understand what they meant.

One person has an opinion. We have no idea if there is a hint (or if it 100% correct) of truth about it or not.

I think a lot of people will have come across people who have presented one face to some and another to someone else.

It is not outwith the realms of possibility to think that they might be the same.

Time will tell if all is rosy or it or isn’t.

I suspect it isn’t a bundle of laughs in their world at the moment due to the ‘fucking grifters’ comment. It will be hard for them to disassociate themselves from that.

Shite sticks - true or false.

ArcaneWireless · 19/06/2023 16:19

Cross post Floof

Oh come on, if there is thread after thread and thousands of posts nitpicking every little thing they do then why on earth can comparisons to other royals who are not nitpicked over by the same posters, be raised? Nope, not at all a deflection, it is pointing out hypocrisy and the higher standards the couple are subjected to.

You’ve rather added 2+2 and made 15 there @Roussette

Wherestheheatwave · 19/06/2023 16:24

I remember being very struck by two photos of Meghan when her guard was down. One was in a car driving away from an event . Her face was like absolute thunder. Another at a wedding of one of Harry’s friends where she is displeased that his attention is not on her but chatting to his friends. She looks murderous. I think she cultivates an image but behind closed doors is very likely difficult to live with. As is Harry clearly.
Also read an account by a friend of Harry’s about a dinner that they were invited to. She wanted to know which designers the women would be wearing in advance. When he was non plussed and couldn’t answer she became demanding and imperious. Kept insisting that he find out. So rude.

Don't think so if you read the original post about it

I don't understand your post

What truth?
What whitewash?

Iwantcakeeveryday · 19/06/2023 16:27

why is @Roussette getting all the heat, I am the one that raised it. I am a survivor of domestic and sexual abuse and I do not think tis appropriate to liken anyone to violent acts or to use domestic violence as an analogy either. It's not ok. Its extremely insensitive and offensive.

ArcaneWireless · 19/06/2023 16:30

As am I. And I chose to read Ella’s post for what it was.

I wouldn’t have used those words - as I said above - but it was clear what they were trying to say.

I think it is being twisted unnecessarily.

when a survivor of something objects, it isn't very respectful to come in and say, me too and its fine, or correct my feelings. I am entitled to feel this way and interpret it my way. When a similar thing happened recently, everyone was very respectful and considerate to that poster, as we should all be. Everyone deserves the same level of respect regardless of their feelings about Harry. Its fine to share our own views, but it must be always respecting to other survivors and to suggest I deliberate twist things isn't respectful at all.
