I thought she looked remarkably relaxed tbh. I wouldn't like to have to have my 5yo on global display in such a formal setting. Also, George had a big role and could have fainted or been overwhelmed. Lady Anne Glenconner was an adult MOH at the 1953 coronation and she felt faint and had to be held up between a pillar and another attendant in the Abbey. Charlotte could have got the giggles. I would have been grinding my teeth and counting down the seconds. I think in the face of the H&M shitshow Kate has relaxed, as she's pretty much bomb proof in comparison,

I was going to say something similar, but couldn't be bothered in the end. Surely it's not difficult to understand that when someone's every moment is being captured on film there are going to be instances when they look slightly different to normal. Sit and watch someone for an hour OP and see how many different facial expressions you see in that time. Have you never seen a photo of yourself that someone took that you were unaware of? Most of us have, and most of the photos are less than flattering. I often look unhappy/grumpy but rarely actually am, it's just the way I look.

No, I thought she looked much as usual — a nicely-groomed, well-cared-for smoker with lovely hair. The Royal Victorian Order robes are fussy and unflattering.

I wonder what the equivalent of hours she has to do compared to a full time job. Having to always have a smile, be nice to everyone and make small talk would be excruciatingly tedious. On top of that, not knowing who your real friends are, always being scrutinised and having no real freedom. Not sure the money and pressure is worth it. Mind you, there are much worse ways to live too!

I think the tabloids thought he was just cheeky. The main criticism of Kate was on social media. It was so OTT. I saw people talking about which objects she should have beat Louis with. It was horrible.
