I remember all this erupting on Facebook with the passing of The Duke of Edinburgh/Captain Tom/The Queen…and predictably posted by the usual suspects on mine 😬
A proliferation of Diana centric ones this time. Some people really need to get over it. Yes, it was incredibly tragic that she died in a horrific car accident, but all of this could have been avoided if Charles and Camilla had been allowed to get married in the first place.
As for the Diana one, don’t get me started on could/should of instead of have! Grrrr…..

the memes about the cloaked hooded 'grim reaper' who passed across the Abbey transept were quite amusing

What?! Where?!

I'm starting to hate that fucking Paddington.

This was my first thought when I opened this thread and saw the photos.

I'd get an extra lock for your door.

Move, immediately 🤣

Awful photos. You could of course leave Facebook, or use their complaints procedure to let them know. Or block the senders perhaps.

StaySpicy · 09/05/2023 19:54

Emdubz · 08/05/2023 19:44

Owner of the throne 😐

Are the flowers growing out of her dress?! Looks like a bad photoshop job.

I'm glad I don't have anyone on FB who would post crap like this.

Or share them on here so we can have a laugh.

Absolutely, let’s face it other people’s bad taste is our entertainment.

Namechange828492 · 09/05/2023 20:03

These are hilarious!

AlwaysGinPlease · 09/05/2023 20:09

Jealous. I haven't had any. Might have to go looking for them 😊

AlwaysGinPlease · 09/05/2023 20:13

I am not disappointed- this absolute gem ...

I love the way she's eternally young. Had she lived she'd be 62.
That's a great one, @AlwaysGinPlease 😉

Garethkeenansstapler · 09/05/2023 20:21

I think a few of these are quite sad actually. How the fairytale Diana hoped for would’ve played out had real life not happened.

ArcaneWireless · 09/05/2023 20:27

I'd get an extra lock for your door. 😂

And a big fence.

And maybe a tiger.

If Diana is controlling the weather does that make her single handedly posthumously responsible for climate change?

I read the other day that it's rained for every coronation day for about the last 200 years.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 09/05/2023 21:45

Typical - the weather gods hate any British holiday. Maybe Diana was a weather god's love-child.

No that's Meghan's fault - I read it on Twitter.

Why does she have tulips growing out of her?

WomanBitingATowel · 08/05/2023 17:21

OK, these people are intellectually first-rate, but dyslexic, and the combination of poor SPaG and a mawkish and illogical fixation with a long-dead woman who wouldn’t have become queen anyway, because she was no longer married to the heir to the throne, is pure coincidence?

😂

Srin · 10/05/2023 06:11

medianewbie · 09/05/2023 08:33

Both my young people scored off the scale on pictorial IQ tests ('first rate' intelligence' is a rather nebulous term as are 'mawkish' & 'illogical') but are Dyslexic so might well make that grammatical error. Grammar is not a reliable indicator of intelligence. Sneering at others opinions whilst linking them to SEN is, I have found.

She was actually doing the opposite.

Yep! Not one to ask to feed the cat, that's for sure!

At the time, (I was young, in love & naieve) I loved Diana & cried buckets (mainly for the boys losing their mum) hated how the RF (appeared) to deal with it all and loathed Camilla.

But I've grown up, wised up & now think Camilla is so good for Charles, I'm glad they got married.

I think if Charles had behaved much better & they'd stayed together, Diana would have made a beautiful Queen & it would have been much more fairytale. But neither of them would have been happy.

Rain is tears from Diana...what an utter load of tripe.

I will confess though, I love the padddington pictures. ☺️
