Lighthearted but Not My King? Yay or nay?

It's apparent on the coronation threads today that this is an emotive subject on both sides. So for a snapshot of opinions please comment simply yay or nay as to whether you feel Charles is your king!

People may not like it but if you are a UK citizen he is your king. So it's daft to say he isn't.

Nay and no we don't have to like it! we've got rid of a Charles before, so it's by no means a closed argument.

I have nothing against him and he is as much King as his mother was Queen . But I have no interest in the monarchy and I hate the dreadful waste of money for the coronation especially when so many people are struggling.

But my family, whilst never being massively famous or eminent, have knocked around the royals for centuries. Quite a few of them ended up dead because of it, so I'm not getting involved :D

(Admittedly the Lancastrian thing did pay off, but I don't have a band of warriors to lend Lord Stanley, so can't offer the Not My King side much advantage this time.)

Nay. I honestly don't understand how anybody can continue to agree with and actively celebrate a monarchy when there's so much terrible inequality in this country. I've come to the conclusion that they are either hard of thinking or just not very nice.
