So what is this all about then?
Who did it and why?
And whoever's PR team is responsible needs tearing off a strip, it's going to backfire.
I know there was a thread about this earlier today but it was deleted due to questions over how genuine the OP was. As this story is everywhere at the moment I thought I would have a try myself and see how we go. Just a couple of preemptive points:

  1. My MN credentials are rock solid so don't anyone even go there😁
  2. Lets also keep some perspective, at the end of the day we are talking about a bunch of privileged and entitled millionaires who likely wouldn't even pee on us if we were on fire and that goes for both 'sides'.

Oh I am sorry, I didn't realise you only wanted speculation on her plastic surgery! I thought I would post pictures that are less than 12 hours old, showing she looks the same as she has always been, seeing as others have posted images saying she was unrecognisable, images and posts to which you made no objection.

Anne's two husbands would not have been famous if they had not married her.

In fact, the Royal Family as a family is famous for being the Royal family not for the talents or achievements of its individual members. They are, as a family, not bursting with either exceptional brains or talent.

I can think of only three members of that family who achieved their fame from their work and talents, and not just because of who fathered them or who they married.

Anthony Armstrong-Jones was a renowned photographer before he married Margaret. Of course he became more famous afterwards, but he was already known as a society photographer.

Mike Tindall would have been famous even if he had not married Zara. He was a successful sportsman.

Meghan Markle would have been famous even if she had not married Harry. She was a successful actress with her own well-regarded blog. No she was not an A last actress, and in any event that's not the only kind of actress that is successful.

She is definitely the only woman who came into that family with a measure of name recognition for achievements outside the family.

It's silly to pretend otherwise.

I realise that the thread has moved on, but Anne's first husband was/is a high achiever in his own right, an Olympic medallist and when he stopped riding competitively went on the have an international career as a course designer. He's not of the generation where that could potentially be built on (in the way Mike Tindall built a profile beyond rugby) - and in any case may not have wanted to.

Are you talking about Valentine Hoy? As he works for the Times, not the Telegraph, I’d say it’s very unlikely he’d know for sure who the source was, and he either listened to gossip, or jumped to well-informed conclusions like many of his fellow journalists when he tweeted that it came from Team Sussex.

After a pointed mention of lawyers letters, he said it looked like his assumption was wrong. Reading between the lines, it looked very much like one of the lawyers’ letters might have been to him - and as he didn’t know for sure who was the source of the article, he backtracked. Sensible, when you know Team Sussex will be holding a grudge against you. And it doesn’t mean it wasn’t Team Sussex who in fact leaked it either!

Having read his autobiography with my mouth wide open at parts at his not-at-all-disguised complete lack of a moral compass, I can’t imagine it either, but I have heard that when he puts his public facing persona aside, he is great company. And I guess in many of the circles he moves in people are able to do that (in the same way that many politicians who publicly express disdain for their counterparts are actually friends off-camera, I guess).

I didn't have much of an opinion on them, they seem harmless enough, and support good causes.

I like their mother, she is fun, and gives good copy. I don't judge them for their revolting and unpleasant father.

But hanging out with Piers Morgan, without being forced to do so!

None of us know who was the source for the article Roussette - each side has their own opinions, is all. If you don’t know for sure, and you get a lawyer’s letter saying “put up or shut up” most sensible people shut up.

And of course the Sussexes have a grudge against Valentine Hoy! He was the journalist who exposed the bullying allegations against them - and despite their lawyers combing over his article for a good couple of days before publication, it stood up and was published, and not denied. I can’t imagine he’s on their Christmas card list. And given Meghan has previously actively aimed to get people she dislikes fired, I imagine forcing him to backtrack here was immensely satisfying.

My objection to Piers is not to his "public facing persona", but his association with criminal activities like phone hacking.

And that disgraceful faked front page story about British soldiers torturing Iraquis. Yes he fell prey to a hoax, but his refusal to apologise was beyond contempt.

As you say, it's about his moral compass.
