No surprise he's coming on his own to the coronation.

I don't know how he dare face them all.

The same way the rest of them dare to. Has hardly the worst out of them all.

Maireas · 12/04/2023 17:01

Roussette · 12/04/2023 16:57

They always said they'd only have two didn't they!?

That's true, but they could change their mind? I'm just saying it's not really batshit like some of the other suggestions.,..

Roussette · 12/04/2023 17:02

marshmallowsforbreakfast · 12/04/2023 16:56

You'll all hate me for saying this, but I honestly wonder if they've separated. I feel sorry for Harry going on his own, it can't be easy to face that tension (however much of his own making) alone. She wasn't very visible at all during his book launch. What ever you may think of her, nobody can argue she doesn't like the limelight.

I don't hate you but really...just because she has been low key for a while, they've separated?? Really?

Maybe just maybe the toxic press is affecting her MH, so she is lying low, what about that theory?

My MH would be in the gutter seeing what she has to put up with. I have no idea how she copes

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:03

Robinni · 12/04/2023 16:56

@Whaeanui Fergie was interviewed recently saying she will be watching from home. Said as she is divorced from Andrew she is “out” of the family. And said anyone who decides to leave should do the same, can’t have it both ways… wonder who she meant 🤔

Well she should take her own advice then! What is she still doing at the lodge? Why did she complain about not being invited to William and Kate’s wedding? Is this the interview where she said She described Andrew as a “wonderful, very kind and a very good man” when discussing the comparisons between her and her fictional romantic heroines.

Rainbow1901 · 12/04/2023 17:03

Good that Harry will be there as the King is his father and he should be involved in family events but it was so rude not to respond by the RSVP date.
State events take months of planning to ensure things run to the minute and that everyone and everything is in place at the correct time. You have only to look back at the Queens' funeral to see how meticulously everything was handled with marching bands, cars, ceremonies etc.
Harry's tardiness in sending in his RSVP should have discounted him from attending instead of allowing him to call the shots. Just so rude!

Sudeko · 12/04/2023 17:04

They could have used her attendance. It will be a bunch of wrinkly, white people all over again with poc only invited as performers.

Dentistlakes · 12/04/2023 17:04

I suspect she knows how uncomfortable she’ll be made to feel and has decided it’s not worth putting herself through it. It’s good Harry’s going though.

LlynTegid · 12/04/2023 17:05

Not surprised, glad the Duke of Sussex is attending his own father's coronation.

AutumnNymph · 12/04/2023 17:05

Roussette · 12/04/2023 16:48

OK, so they are seperated
About to divorce
She's pregnant
The children aren't theirs, they don't have any
He's thick and totally controlled by her
She wants to play the victim

This thread is just as normal batshit unpleasant. Some of you really need to have a little think about this sort of shite you post

Spot on

Maireas · 12/04/2023 17:05

@Whaeanui - she also said he was an "honourable man" 😮

They are not separated.

They will be apart for at most two days, just as they were apart when Harry came for his court case.

Strategically, this the best outcome for them.

There won't be massive headlines hounding harry for "snubbing" his father.

And equally, there won't be headlines scrutinising Meghan's every move, body language experts interpreting her every gesture. She gets to protect herself from all that, and Harry gets to be there for his father's big day. The royal family is big on appearances: it maters that he is there because it would have been a huge embarrassment for Charles not to have his son at his own Coronation.

The biggest loser here is the press, because they have been deprived of their lucrative Meghan clicks. And the Royal Rota who have been denied hours of pontificating over her every move.

Still you can expect ACRES of column inches over the next few days crowing about his its a good thing she won't be there. Bad as that is, it would have been worse had she come.

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:05

but it was so rude not to respond by the RSVP date.

you don’t even know that happened! Do you believe everything the tabloids tell you?

Roussette · 12/04/2023 17:06

You do realize that is just media making up stories? The RF have probably known for a while and are just waiting until they make a statement. Like now

shockthemonkey · 12/04/2023 17:06

Bluekerfuffle · 12/04/2023 15:49

Why? She was invited, her decision to go or not, so why think less of the royal family?

Right, Blue, this is what really puzzles me. What control do the RF - not an institution I'm a fan of, btw - have over whether MM accepts their invitation?

I mean, by all means reproach them for any real shortcomings of theirs, as there are a few. But this? They cannot make her attend!

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:07

@Maireas I know! Because he went to visit Epstein after he had been to prison for child abuse charges. He said it was the honourable thing to do. In what world do either of them actually think that.

Maireas · 12/04/2023 17:08

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:07

Ye gods. I actually heard her say that on some ghastly chat show promoting her latest book. I was gobsmacked.

Robinni · 12/04/2023 17:08

Re. The pregnancy theory, she’s 41, with a history of miscarriage. She’s always gone semi into hiding in the first - second trimester of previous pregnancies. And it really isn’t like her to avoid the limelight completely without good reason. Flying and going through stress wouldn’t be great for a pregnancy so that’s what made me suggest it… wasn’t up on the 2 child policy of H&M…

Poor taste to wish divorce or separation on them or dispute their children. Really weird.

As much as I get annoyed about the whole fiasco, they do deserve to be together and make their way. I just wish they hadn’t let the country down so badly with all the sensitivity and lack of preparation for what they were taking on. Never complain, never explain better way of dealing with things.

LadyMary50 · 12/04/2023 17:08

Gooseysgirl · 12/04/2023 15:45

Completely agree. I think it's terrible she won't be there. But I honestly don't blame her and think she's doing the right thing for herself and the kids. They can choose when they are older whether they want to part of the circus or not.

Unfortunately they are already part of the H and M circus.I’m sure as they grow up they will be used for more attention and publicity.Let’s not pretend that Meghan is a shy withdrawn flower.

Mumskisail · 12/04/2023 17:09

Both of them should be ashamed and keep away. Let's hope Harry manages to keep it to himself and not rinse the story for cash

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:09

@Maireas oh me too, why does she keep publicly supporting him. It’s so inappropriate. Just be quiet about him!! I just don’t understand how she can still live there and benefit from everything. It’s a bizarre situation

Wonnle · 12/04/2023 17:10

Pity the whiny little shit is coming at all !

Maireas · 12/04/2023 17:10

It is poor taste and very unpleasant to wish separation or divorce on them. It's just gossip - there's no evidence.

Whaeanui · 12/04/2023 17:11

@LadyMary50 can you just not. It’s so low to talk about their kids like that. They’re doting protective parents. No need to talk about their kids like that

Shhhquirrel · 12/04/2023 17:11

kirinm · 12/04/2023 15:41

I think Meghan not being there makes me think less of the royal family tbh.

Don’t be ridiculous
