Archewell: leading the way with compassion...

Archewell states on their website that their purpose is "leading the way with compassion"

I don't see Harry and Meghan role modelling compassion, certainly not towards either Harry's family or Meghan's family. To me this seems incongruous. Why don't they practice what they preach?

Won't share anything else about it.
You are superfans so it isn't possible to have an open minded discussion anyway.
Believe what you like based on what you know

Well there’s no discussion because you have made something up and won’t give details, even the country name. Don’t you think your comment sounds a little juvenile? ‘ I know something but I won’t tell you what it is because you won’t believe it anyway’ isn’t really something I expect an adult to say.

'Deflection! ... we're talking about Harry!

Not deflection, comparison. You can’t criticise him for something you don’t criticise the rest of the royals for.

It is deflection, the conversation was about Harry and him being 'inspirational' - and that was my response, he personally isn't inspirational ... I don't think any of the RF are to be honest, but Harry isnt and that was the discussion.

fragolino · 13/04/2023 11:35

@Roussette they are extremely charismatic and they have an ease about them which unfortunately many other royals don't have but which is neccessry in these media exposed times...

Megan and Harry also seem far more than real and relatable than the rest.

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 11:37

@custardbear to you, he isn’t inspirational to you. Plenty of people find them inspirational. Each to their own. The fact he has staff help him do his charity work doesn’t have anything to do with whether or not he is inspirational. Busy people have staff. That’s not a big thing surely.

You are making me laugh now. It's taking me back 25 years to when my kids used to say to each other "I've got a secret and I'm not telling you ner ner ner ner ner!"

I think relatable is right. I wont compare to William and Kate because it is unfair, they have restrictions and protocols but it is very different , yes an ease about H&,M

I know that you are the fountain of all royal knowledge and never knowingly undersold since the year dot but if it is out of MSM and this website is pretty much aligned with MSM then I cannot say anything and it would be deleted anyway.
It wouldn't matter anyway because you are a superfan and you would defend all of it.
Personally, I like the idea of two people from broken homes trying to give a stable family life to their kids. Why would I share anything negative about the past?

If that's the case why bring it up in the first place because no one can respond or comment because we don't know what you are talking about

I am not the fountain of all knowledge on anything, I am realistic though. Nor am I a super fan but hey ho call me what you want!

Really? I've never seen that and would appreciate a source.

By the way... the Queen was Queen for 70 years. A bit of difference to two and bit years of Archewell wouldn't you say?

A year.

purpledalmation · 13/04/2023 13:33

@custardbear Yes, chaff and redirect. Military term.

I don't keep getting deleted for my nasty posts as alleged. It's troll hunting apparently according to MN. Of course there are none.

"Through attending engagements and in other ways, the Queen supported many charitable causes. Research published by Charities Aid Foundation in 2012 found the late monarch was among the world’s largest supporters of charities, with an estimated £1.4 billion raised just from her work alone."

One of the qualities which made Her Majesty the Queen so popular was her sense of duty and service. We briefly review her philanthropic legacy in tribute.

Thx for the link. As I say 70 years v 2 and a bit.
And the Queen carried far more importance, and was known all over the 🌎

My deleted post above wasn’t a personal attack. It simply corrected the lie.

I'm very sorry I had to report because I was very offended at your accusations. I try to be as inoffensive as possible while trying to put a point across that I feel equally strongly about namely the unpleasant way harry and Meghan have treated their families. I really didn't intend to provoke such anger in you.

Roussette · 13/04/2023 16:28

Are you sorry?

I doubt it. You deny you have deleted posts.

I know different

This is ridiculous. Who are you trying to lie to? Anyone here regularly knows what I’m saying is truthful. You have made personal attacks. To @Roussette in particular. I know because I reported them. I don’t report every one btw. But if you continue to report me for simply stating what happened then I think that says a lot. Don’t make personal attacks to us just because we disagree.

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 16:37

You called us Sussex sugars the other day. Bots. Paid staff. On one thread in particular a group of you endlessly harassed @Roussette I can find the thread if you like? I can link it here so everyone can see? I don’t lie.

jeffgoldblum · 13/04/2023 16:40

Any group of posters , ganging up and targeting one poster is not on in my book , but two wrongs don't make a right .
It certainly looks like @purpledalmation is being bullied now .

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 16:46

@jeffgoldblum oh here you are again to intervene when someone on your side of the argument gets pushback. Please stop dropping in to call us bullies, I will report being referred to that way. Last time I asked you why you don’t step in when it frequently happens to @Roussette you said she can stick up for herself. You know very well so can purple, so I’m not quite sure why you come into a conversation you’re not in to do this, but I will not tolerate being called a bully by you again. Please stop doing it.

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 16:48

And I will continue to pushback against actual name calling as much as I like. I think it’s really out of order. All these names are repeatedly flung at anyone defending Meghan or Harry.

jeffgoldblum · 13/04/2023 16:50

@Whaeanui , with all due respect I have stood up for @Roussette in the not so distant past and refuted bollocks about her being a bot, Russian or any other nonsense! Arguing between one poster to another is one thing but multiple posters on one is not fair, regardless what they post .

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 16:52

But it happens all the time @jeffgoldblum you know this very well. There are 3 posters having this conversation, based on a personal attack made to us just a few days ago. This isn’t 8 posters on 1 like frequently happens to @Roussette

jeffgoldblum · 13/04/2023 16:59

@Whaeanui , yes it happens , it has always happened, then it gets out of control. I've followed the threads but not posted for two reasons, it's the holidays and the kids need attention but mainly it's got bad again, new posters posting vile crap from both sides, and tedious arguments from all posters. I didn't tag anyone because I wasn't calling any one poster of being a bully, rather that as a group it looks like bullying behaviour, I'm sure no one meant it that way in this case but that's how it looked, and it's not just this thread posters are following @purpledalmation onto other threads too.

Whaeanui · 13/04/2023 17:02

@jeffgoldblum you must understand that when there are only two posters engaging with the one you’re defending, and you say ‘bullied’ that implies you think we are bullies. All I’m doing is highlighting that we’ve been subject to personal attacks, quite a lot of them.
