So pages and pages of nitpicking by the two of you over @Roussette ’s words only to be proven you’ve deliberately misrepresented the matter… and that’s our fault for not letting it just happen? Both times you two attacked her first.

Roussette · 31/03/2023 20:45

I am being accused of something... when all I said about W&K 'I am sure their relationship is fine as it's so important for them to stay together'

Honestly!

I suggest you read other people's posts! I am mild compared to some.

I'm a bit busy with personal attacks at the moment to be honest,, before calling out other behaviours.

'All I said was...'

Of course it was!

'I am sure their relationship is fine' vs 'I am sure their relationship is fine as it is so important for them to stay together'

Let's compare it to 'I am sure their relationship is fine as they have so much in common' or 'as their body language is so attuned'

As against the implication they put on an outward show as they need to be seen to be together.

Years ago I came across some basic linguistic theory of surface structure and deep structure - happy to be corrected as it was very basic and a long time ago!

'The chicken is ready for dinner' - implies a roast chicken ready to be eaten. 'The shark is ready for dinner' - implies a live and hungry shark looking for prey.

As I said, the first few times it is easy to assume that is is just a misinterpretation of intention. After a while it becomes obvious.

And you have learnt from masters! Harry and Meghan are experts in making all sorts of implied meanings while also being able to say that 'all I said was' 😂

I admire your commitment to the cause, especially as I do believe you're not being paid for it, despite how much time you spend posting here. It is truly a calling.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 21:23

I'm more than happy to discuss/debate but I'll call out hypocrisy and disingenuous comments when I see them.

But you didn’t. I’ve just shown you the exchange, the first comment @Roussette directed at the poster was ‘you don’t believe he was hacked, is that what you’re saying?’ The poster replied ‘ what I believe or my opinion doesn’t matter’.

Yes you’re right, hacking is bad but tapping is legally worse, Elton John also accuses them of this. I’m not sure if the Baroness does but possibly, otherwise it’s hacking. There are a lot of claims and claimants across two lawsuits and two groups so it is actually easy to get confused who hacked, bugged or tapped who. It’s all bad and if proven quite serious. Especially for Paul Dacre.

ANLs defence today could be summarised as ‘ they should have always suspected us and never believed us when we told an official enquiry we had checked and we didn’t do anything wrong’, IMO 😬

I haven't attacked anyone.

I also don't believe I've been proven wrong. You posted half the conversation. Also just to point out you say the poster I was defending didn't disagree with Rousette's accusation of not liking Harry, they also didn't confirm it, as it didn't matter in the context of what was said. They were not saying anything negative, they were discussing which method was being used in this case. They called out the actions. A key part of their post was left out in order to alter the context.

Bit of course you'll argue, tell me I'm wrong and back your mate. Can't knock your loyalty, I suppose.

@GrinAndVomit I'm not bothered what they say, but thank you.

Cokefans · 31/03/2023 21:25

A little distasteful in the current climate to talk about being taken out to be shot

Is this a joke? What I said was not bad. There are so many posts saying far far worse, yet you pick me up on this?

What do you want me to say?

I think William is punching up. She is perfect for the institution. It IS very important they stay together. If it doesn't work, it seriously could be the end of the Monarchy.

So I say I am sure their relationship is fine as it is so important they stay together is an awful thing to say? Seriously???????

Why am I so bad? Why the character assassination of me? I don't actually admire your calling in searching me out. I find it weird and unsettling.

I once had a police case and law involved with stalking and you are making me feel very uncomfortable

I have no idea who you are, probably a NCer who has been here for years but hiding under a cloak of secrecy because you seem to know me so so well. You are searching me and quoting my posts from ages ago to have a go. It's very weird. I won't look you up because I would prefer to concentrate on the post. Not the poster.

GrinAndVomit · 31/03/2023 21:30

Why do you keep saying this? That you don’t know posters?

You've shown part of the exchange, not the full context. The poster never denied something took place, they said they didn't believe his phone had been hacked, they believed it was bugging of the car. They aren't wrong are they? In this case there is no claim of hacking from Harry, that's the other case. Perhaps that was her point to keep things factual. And you've stated yourself there is a difference, insomuch as the tapping is more serious. Isn't it important to establish actual facts in order to strengthen your own argument?

Anyway, I agree whichever method was used it's awful and I really hope the culprits are taken to task. The Baroness is the one that truly gets me, has the poor lady not suffered enough?

Thanks!

Keep going. And by the way, you aren't fooling me either.

What is the indefensible as far as Harry flying in on commercial.

He did.

Feel free to ignore me, I'd be well pleased.

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 21:38

@RocketsMagnificent7 no I posted the relevant bit. The next post from them regarding this was
purpledalmation · Today 19:14
Harry has no evidence of actual phone hacking and a major witness for the prosecution (that private investigator (sorry dont know name)) has now recanted his evidence of hacking and using his investigative skills to invade the privacy of the claimants. He now says he didn't say he did these things, hence there may now need to be a full court hearing because the evidence needs to be tested to find out who is lying.

So what’s funny is, we are all arguing the above poster was correct, he wasn’t hacked by ANL ( they said bugged, that’s bugging a car not a phone, the claim is phone was tapped by ANL ) but above in the next comment the same poster actually gets it wrong by saying ‘hacking’ themselves 😂 after replying to me get your facts straight 😂😂😂😂

What was the point my original comment was trying to make? That for Charles to employ someone from ANL/Mail on Sunday when they’d done all this to his son and daughter in law ( her case proven ) including perfectly legally but relentless nasty articles, was really wrong. If ANL are found guilty of this, it’s during the time said member of staff was there, it will only complicate the relationship further. To me, as a parent, I think that it’s a really shitty thing to do.

Blimey.

I am now a stalker, because I have pointed out how you use ambiguous language to attack while being able to deny making an attack.

Why do you assume I've NC'd instead of just reading over a period of time? Feel free to let us know who you thing I used to 'be'. No doubt @MNHQ would be able to confirm your suspicions! Or maybe not... because actually I haven't posted much because I don't care very much. I find it interesting how the media construct narratives, including social media, which is why I have read various threads.

You have very much aligned yourself with Harry and Meghan, and have used some dubious linguistic methods to attack their critics while pretending to be neutral.

Interesting. Please carry on, it is a useful case study!

Whaeanui · 31/03/2023 21:39

Why do you always deflect away from the actual subject?

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this, this is irony

RocketsMagnificent7 · 31/03/2023 21:40

Interesting tag team on here.
i really admire how calm you manage to stay.

So you're saying if more than one person disagrees with or challenges a poster they're 'tag-teaming'?

It seems only certain people are allowed to 'call out' other people, otherwise posters are accused of attacking.

That's also very interesting.

PlanetLuna · 31/03/2023 21:42

Roussette · 31/03/2023 20:40

It was a tapping of his landline

Ahhh... Got it! So tapping his landline is different to bugging his phone! Lololol. Got it!

😂😂😂

True!

As I said, who am I supposed to have been before NC'ing? Useful accusation to make, but I am happy for @MNHQ to confirm or deny - as it's not true!

Roussette · 31/03/2023 21:44

@RocketsMagnificent7

I am part of your study. Hope you enjoy. I can't be bothered with the ridiculous stuff you are coming out with now. Because it's looking increasingly desperate and weird.

Keep searching my posts if it pleases you. If you keep your name, I will avoid you!

If you don't I might well recognise your writing style lol

The claims cover the period his fathers now top communications person was working there.

@Whaeanui
Really?! 🧐
I was not aware of that.🤭

mixedrecycling · 31/03/2023 21:46

Please do call out NC'ers and ask @MNHQ to confirm.

Because it is easy to accuse people - like me - who bring up uncomfortable truths - as NCers. That is a lovely way of avoiding responsibility for your own posts,

Exactly! Insinuation was a great way of creating deniable accusations in the OP interview.

Now being carried into the MN discussions.

@MNHQ would welcome your input into whether we are all one person who keeps NC'ing!
