To be honest, sometimes I think he is just on a mission to destroy the UK! First destroy his family, then friends and ex partners, then destroy the institution, destroy the UK reputation overseas and destroy the media. Then, when his trail of destruction is complete, return to the sanctuary of the USA, and chill with some mushrooms and a few joints, laughing at the mess he's left behind.

And he professes to love his country?? Well he definitely can't be talking about the UK.

I wonder if the USA will have him back. I'd drugs test him first, at the airport

MamoruHisaishi · 29/03/2023 11:13

you’re confused over news orgs. This is the first time ANL have faced any legal claim about hacking ( and more besides, including phone tapping

I wasn't replying to you, I was replying to another person who said this:

Yes, and I sense he will continue to seek accountability from the Palace Press Office and the family members for how they've operated - looking the other way. Nothing to see here. Basically for wuss practices.

PastaLaVistaBabee · 29/03/2023 11:15

MamoruHisaishi · 29/03/2023 11:10

Why would they take no action against ANL when they did take action against the news of the world?

The prince added: "The Institution made it clear that we did not need to know anything about phone hacking and it was made clear to me that the Royal Family did not sit in the witness box because that could open up a can of worms."
He went on to say the Royal Family's "strict no comment policy" meant that "even the worst or most suspicious articles were often never brought to my attention".

Why does someone need to bring them to his attention?? He's not god sitting on a thrown with servants rushing around bringing him everything. Or maybe he thinks he is/was. He could have gone out and read stuff for himself. If the articles were that bad, surely he'd have noticed them. If not, chances are noone else did. If everyone else did, then surely he should have.

VixenTodd you said nothing about her spelling.

You said her "ideas" worried you more. I can't believe you wrote that.

I am reporting it.

Looking at the context beyond your attainment level? Thought so

got to lol.

The memes are just like adverts to me @samcro, I scroll by, particularly as I don't understand what it is they're trying to say.

And you think the Mail Group has the best interests of the UK at its heart?

Whaeanui · 29/03/2023 11:19

then destroy the institution, destroy the UK reputation overseas and destroy the media.

The UK reputation is its own responsibility. The tabloid media are simply being exposed for illegal immoral activity. Why anyone would want to keep the kind of disgusting press that does all this, is beyond me. The fact that millions still support it after all we have learnt, has more of a stain on UKs reputation than any book from Harry has.

Yes he's very clear here. For Harry Palace Press protocols are under scrutiny as well. The 'strict no comment policy' - for fear of opening a can of worms really is unacceptable.

Bollocks! I never said any such thing.

On the same post I mentioned a German ancestor, I also mentioned a French one. Do you go around tracking and taking notes of all posters? No wonder people get nervous to post on here, but I guess that is your aim. To intimidate people with unfounded doxxing.

We are literally talking about rags creating culture wars just now, and here you are with some dog whistle for the racists and xenophobes with your unfounded ridiculous accusations. Highly offensive. I do not care what race/nationality/gender posters are. This is about the RF, not about who the posters are.

What's you problem anyway, do you work for the rags or something?

I'm not from the UK but from one of the Commonwealth countries, and as much as I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt I find it harder and harder not to feel disdain for him. I'm not saying that he has no right to feel heard or to express his feelings/struggles, but all he does is act like the biggest victim. When I read comments here mentioning the royal family as being like slaves to the public, I want to throw up because they clearly don't know what real slavery is and the actual struggles of people who have no hopes of ever climbing out of poverty due to either not being born into the right family or because of the circumstances that they've faced. Those people, some who are relatives who live in what is considered a third world country, would trade their lives to live like Harry in an instant, even with all the public scrutiny. I bet they would do a better job at fitting in as well. Having seen the true extent of poverty and misery, it just sickens me that someone like Prince Harry has never once shown any acknowledgement of the good fortune he has of being born the son of the king, of the privilege that he has due to being born into the a powerful and wealthy family.

Plitvice · 29/03/2023 11:25

So he is using the phone hacking scandal to once again 🙄 draw attention to how toxic his family and upbringing have been.
Is this his latest version of extending the olive branch?

Yes exactly, if Prince William was able to figure this out on his own and actually did something about it, why didn't Prince Harry? Why does he need others to inform him of these news articles?

Yes a sound moral code should drive your reputation - not staying quiet and keeping up appearances.

No I don't work for the tabloids. I remembered you saying your ancestors were Nazis but fair dos. Those Germans went thru re-education and are extreme left now like you. I was defending why you got the word wrong. Sorry you don't want it brought up. I wont mention it again.

Whaeanui · 29/03/2023 11:30

@MamoruHisaishi excuse me, since you’re replying to something I said, I am from Aotearoa. Where Maori women were sold as sex slaves to soldiers, where the women of my iwi were raped en masse after the British and Irish soldiers had arrested the men leaving women vulnerable. Don’t you write that load of utter presumptuous crap directed at me, a Maori woman you know nothing about. I’m from a working class family. As for Harry not ever once acknowledging his privilege, that’s utter bollocks. He does. Frequently. As has William. This was something their mother taught them.

Except his statement contradicts previous incidents, as Prince William was able to get the police involved when he discovered the phone hackings with News of the World. Why would the Institution suddenly cover up this incident with ANL when past history suggests that they do actually take action when illegal activity like this comes to light.

The memes are just like adverts to me @samcro, I scroll by, particularly as I don't understand what it is they're trying to say.

I would have said the same, but I think they are done on purpose to quickly fill up a thread that is not going the way they had hoped. I don't read all the threads, but I do a quick scan and I believe the memes are mostly posted on a thread that leans on positive for H&M.

My understanding is one of three things. 1 They are frustrated by pro-H&M sentiment, so post mundane unrelated things. 2 They actually hate the rf, and want someone to post memes against them in response. 3 They enjoy creating a culture war as it makes money for a paper they work for

The poster is not of may words, which is natural for some posters. I'm not too sure on this particular one. I have to say.

I agree 100% with this. I don't think I have ever ever heard Harry acknowledge and say thank you for his privilege. It is always poor poor me. And then playing the martyr - I will protect granny (even though I hardly see her and will publish an inflamtory book she'd have hated), I will save William and his children, I will save the country, I will preach about climate change (while flying to UK unnecessarily whem I could have attend the pre trial remotely)... etc ..

Please do not.

You are telling outright porkies now.

Not once did I mention any Nazi. Not only did I not even mention the timelines, but you will be happy to know that the French ancestor was indeed fighting nazis at different timelines.

Hope that puts the matter to rest.

I know all about being colonized, not just by a European country but also by the USA. Not trying to play the poverty game here but unfortunately my relatives who weren't as fortunate as myself to have left the country aren't even considered working class. It sucks having to hear them not getting enough to eat sometimes so they skip meals and I can only do so much as I don't have enough money to support them all the time either. Regardless, even if Prince Harry did mention it in the past, it would be nice for him to acknowledge his good fortune of being born into the Royal Family instead of always maligning it. Even if he doesn't them, he's already expressed his dislike, why keeping mentioning it over and over again? He's just so full of negativity. I can proudly say that at least my family, despite the hardships, are grateful for whatever good fortune comes their way because they know just how hard life can be so they make the most of whatever good they have.

So you're basically just relying on Prince Harry’s word who has admitted that his memory is unreliable and who has also claimed at one point that he never went on bike rides with his dad despite photos of him being on a bike with his dad? This just sounds like it’s veering into conspiracies...

Yes. This is his statement in court.
